Not sure about this folks. I've been watching SSN and they are reporting that there is a far eastern government involved in the takeover with Kenny Huang. The "far eastern government" bit concerns me a little.   Whether this is funding from the govenment or something else remains to be seen.

I'd rather see the man from DIC make a return in trying to takeover.

The yanks are powerless. They cant make any descision on who buys the club off them, as of 30th July RBS now make the choice.

And the bid is actually closer to £350 Million than £300.

It depends how much power they still have with regards to the price, no-one seems to be very clear on that aspect. I imagine the amount being reported is an opening gambit + would expect some further negotiation to take place. It's still very early days but these things (if they're serious) seem to happen fairly quickly once a story breaks. That's what has got me excited, it started with a couple of rumours a few hours ago and now all the media are carrying it. time will tell.

Am guessing that relates to him being chairman of some sort of sport foundation board to raise the profile of sport for kids in China or something to that effect.
