I said this a while back and I stand by it now. The LFC supporters need to unite. Whether we join the SOS, whether we believe Rafa was good or bad for the club, whether or not Roy Hodgson will be good for the club. We need to unite. We need to meet each other half way.

But we cant, because as supporters of the club, we no longer do that one simple thing. Many have taken on too many burdens. And through them, the division has arisen. We all need to step back, have a look at each other, and reach a compromise.

ONE THING NEEDS TO HAPPEN BEFORE ANYTHING AT LFC AND ITS A SHIFT IN OWNERS AND ITS ASAP!

Ps I dont "hate" any LFC fan i feel sorry for the blind ones and hope one day they can see facts as opposed to the media spin some are ignorant enough to listen to due to lack of education.

And once the yanks are gone everything will be rosy?

It wont. Not by a long shot.

The arguments I put up will be here long after but replace the odd name with Jovanavic or whoever. I accept the disgrace comment, as I never mentioned the owners, but I am counting on the club being sold. But even when it is sold, it certainly doesnt mean an end to our problems, unless we become another Arab owned club in which case, all our problems are over, we can just buy the league. And then all the unions in the world will never have enough money to buy back the respect our great club once had.

And, like your argument has proved me right, there will never be an equal footing. My opinions differ from yours, thats the downside. Its not just me and you, its right across the board. And thats the sad part. My point is, a split is there, and there is no immediate fix.

I have no wish to pour scorn on your ideas mate ... but what you are saying is in itself a contradiction in terms ... You openly state you have no intention of allowing yourself to be educated and then in the very same breath say "You know what's going on "

I just simply fail to see how you can knowingly accept the plight of the club .... but choose to do little or nothing about it ....
One thing we should all concur on implicitly is the need to take action ,this is why S.O.S are providing the only vessel for such action to transpire ... we need to make our collective voices heard behind the only movement which is capable of collating such growing support ............ It truly is sad times when fellow supporters "Fail to see the importance in this " ,but for me personally the most saddest is their ability to ignore

People stop arguing FOR FOOKSAKE. we are LFC not the BITTERS or cheatski. We all want the same things. Thats success on the pitch. So give it a rest.

Whatever the new management team at Liverpool can achieve to restore the club's fortunes is going to be constrained both financially and in terms of stability as long as the ownership question is not resolved. The general view is that Tom Hicks and George Gillett have set too high an asking price, given that any new owner would be expected to fund a new stadium in Stanley Park. Indeed, that is essential if the club is to progress.

Now it appears that Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), which is owed about £350m by Kop Holdings, is losing patience with the lack of progress towards a sale. Apparently, it would be possible for RBS to call in a large amount of the money owed in October. The move would trigger a default on the debt by the club and control would pass to the bank, just as has happened in the past week with AS Roma in Italy.

RBS, which is currently publicly owned, has no more wish than UniCredit in Italy to own a major football club. But it seems that it would be prepared to consider taking charge temporarily of the sale process to get a result.

My reading of the situation would be that RBS may be dropping hints to Martin Broughton that it wants the process of finding a new owner speeded up so that there is an outcome by the end of the summer. It wants to continue its relationship with Liverpool which has been quite lucrative given the interest payments involved (£40m last year, but not all to RBS). I do not think it would press matters to a default, but at least if there is renewed pressure to resolve the ownership issue, that is good news for long-suffering Liverpool fans.

Below numbers show the dilemma the club faces whether to give Woy transfer funds or invest in the new stadium. Basically apart from tickets price increases the club hasn't take ANY increased income from match attendence for 15 years....... pathetic. We havent invested a penny in increasing the stadium capacity for 15 years whilst ManUre, Arsenal, etc.. etc..
