Strange that at this juncture in time they felt the need to broadcast this sudden surge in the merchandise  market  ???
Trust me this is not being bought in Liverpool by Scousers (UNLESS THEY ARE TOTAL GOBSHITES) I cant vouch for any other regions though   :(

Seems to me they realise that a backlash is on the way and are once again using the media to be slightly liberal with the truth

I dont believe Ayres, I dont believe a word that comes out of any of their mouths, and wait until Torres is sold in a few weeks time, the sh!t will hit the fan after these whoppers have bought the new shirt with his name on the back oh how Ill laugh at the silly b@stards.

Nicked from the Rattle . Posted By PH , and it details the real reason's why rafa was sacked.

What happened which resulted in Rafa being given a vote of no confidence from the Tory Boys!

He asked for a written document drawn up by a lawyer which stated that he had a transfer budget and proceeds from any sales. They wouldn't give it to him and would only give him a verbal/gentlemans agreement. He explained that his transfer targets who were all lined up to come, Jovetic, Silva, Upson or Turner (we all know we were gazuumped on Barry)were lost the previous summer after similar promises and he had taken the blame from the press and some fans for not getting a back up striker, a fit midfielder and another quality centre half. He explained that promises were continually broken and he couldn't take the squad any further under these circumstances. He said if the squad wasn't strenghtened because the promises never materialised he would be forced to go public at the start of the season and explain that the promises had been broken once again. Shorly after one of these 'promising meetings' with Broughton & co thats when the decision to offer him a severance deal was reached.
This was in reality a vote of no confidence from the board!
From the very people who have failed to raise the £100 million promised by April or sell the club - and have presided over a farcical managerial appointment.
I think a Vote of No Confidence in the Tory Boys is overdue!

'Just like the other deals that made Hicks’ reputation as the king of the leveraged buyout'.

If Hicks had that reputation WTF was Moores and the LFC board thinking of seeling to him.

Its been a farce from the moment Moores and Parry started to find buyers.

Of all the people involved in this ongoing saga ......... Moores, Parry, Twit and Tw@t, Rafa, Purslow, Broughton, Kenny, various players bought, or not bought, or sold, that we've all lost sleep about over the last few years, the people who have sufferd most from this whole disaster are none of these, but the FANS.

Everyone else has come and gone making millions, weakening the club all the while and destroying the fabric of our culture, our passion.

This is why SOS is trying to stop the rot.

This is why the fans have to keep together and ensure when its all over, it never happens again.

yer it was a very strange way they loked for buyers but part of it was they fell for the lies that Hicks was saying, GG also fell for Hicks lies and from the min GG understood Hicks was not going to use his own money and things like the ground was not going to be built they have not spoken much.

GG has been made to look just as bad as icks yet it was all down to hicks how put the pland for the takeover in, it was his plans on how and when the ground was going to be built.
yet GG took the blame for that due to him saying what he said (60 days).

yes world money did drop and as luck had it we had not started work on the new ground then if we had the club would have gone bust the same year.

Yep whilst we are on the verge of collapsing fat @rse is farting away along the floor of his bedsit NOT  :glare:

1 //  Cinda and Tom Hicks
$41,462,030
On the one hand, the investor and sports team magnate looks to be in trouble: he recently defaulted on $525 million in loans, he’s trying to sell off parts of the Stars and Rangers, and this month the $400 million loan he used to buy Liverpool FC comes due. On the other hand: he lives in a 28,996-square-foot house on 25 acres, and last year he used 10 million gallons of water.

2 //  Lyn and John Muse
$30,208,470
The chairman of private equity firm HM Capital Partners used to fly higher when he did deals with Hicks (No. 1) at Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst. Now, according to one finance journal, he has taken the firm “back to its pre-bubble sweet-spot in the mid-market.” He gets by with 24,932 square feet on Preston Road.

Lol, did they make up the league table? Did they force alonso out of the club? Did they spend 80 million quid on  babel, kuyt, lucas, keane, aquliani, and dossena? I reacon you should get elton john to rewrite Candle in the Wind annd dedicate it to the memory of rafa. While you at it, get him to write another about how the new inter manager is trying to poach our next signing from under our noses

I also heard that improved sales could be down to Carlsberg no longer on the shirt which is a no-no (beer) in some countries.

Which sounds like a good point.

If this is true it comes at a convenient time for the accountants to cover up the boycott!

Igor, you know you´re wasting your time when I post a comment that its the fans that have suffered the most and people respond still slagging off Moores and Rafa. The forum´s gone quiet and we´re left with the great unwashed.
