Besides what he said yesterday that his agent is considering the options and that we might "see each other" in Madrid, today the rumours are increasing Nanny.

Nothing new, nothing surprising, but I'm fuming.

Yeah, I really wish I could go back to two minutes ago and erase that from my memory.

i would rather swap him. Any club in europe would take gerrard in a swap deal plus we wouldnt run the risk the money going to the debt. So why do limit his sale to just real madrid. Luiz fabiano or wesley schneijder would be great for this club. Could u imagine schneijder playing in masches role then aqua playing just behind fabiano and torres. Wow now that would be exciting. Anyone agree?

Sneijder is not a holding midfielder, he plays like an advanced playmaker ala Juan Roman Riquelme . How no one negotiating the Alonso deal last year could see the potential in having him put forward as part of it is beyond me. He went to Inter for £12m quid which is pittance for a player of his quality. Him and Masch with Gerrard in the withdrawn CF role would have been electric, certainly more creative the the Lucas/Masch pairing and about forty times fitter than an Aquilani/Anyone pairing!

Since becoming captain of England, Stevie has done more talking than he did for the whole of last season at Liverpool.  (in the media etc).

Its frustrating for me. we need him to do this more at Liverpool to lift the players and the fans. he was also doing this at the end of the 09 season.

But you can't just do it when a big trophy is on the line.  The captain needs to do this all the time!

I think there was interest from us but he didn't want to come here.

Thanx for everything Steven, wish I could wish you luck but I hate Madrid so I cant.
Best player of my generation.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Stop being a Debbie Downer, he hasn't left yet. Honestly the amount of hyperbole surrounding the club at the moment is starting to great on my penis like a lump of cheese to a grater.

Both him and Torres have said they'll assess their futures at Liverpool after the World Cup. I doubt either of them are thinking about Liverpool at the moment. Torres will be hoping to fire Spain to the top of their group, so they'll avoid Brazil and Gerrard is hoping to deliver the knock out blow to Germany.

Liverpool is quite rightly on the backs of their mind at the moment. Chin up. It's not over until Fern Britton lets rip.  :)

I think Gerrard will leave and end up at Real Madrid. To be fair to him, almost whatever he decides I don't think most people would begrudge him. He's been one of the best players ever to wear the shirt in my opinion, and were it not for him we very likely wouldn't have won either the Champions League final or the FA Cup final against West Ham. He was like Roy of the Rovers in that game in particular.

Good luck to Steve whatever he decides.

Igor. Im afraid your wrong.  I have a mate who is pretty close to Gerrard and his mates and he says that Stevie will defo be in Madrid next season and it is 100% his decision.

He would have gone if Rafa was here or not..  its pretty much 100% nailed on.. next season we will be without Stevie
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On
