“Hey buddy, my dad died for that flag”

“Really?…I bought mine…They sell ‘em in K-Mart…”

“yeah..He died in Korea for that flag”

“Wow, what a coincidence. Mine was made in Korea…"

"The world is THAT big man?…”

No-one, and I repeat NO-ONE has ever died for a flag. A flag is a piece of cloth, they might have died for freedom, which, by the way, is the freedom to....Burn the.. fucking flag you see??..Burning the flag doesn't make freedom go away, it's kinda like Free-dom ok?..

No Ive never been to any my club brings me success I dont need to follow the national team for it.
England fans are bellends who support the likes of Barnsley, Stoke, Chelsea who smash places up and look for fights, woe betide any liverpool fan burning a flag whilst the England fans run amock !!!!

Just been looking at a few posts today and yeasterday and fecking hell Lakes everyone of you posts the press or the news wire is thrown in the convo somewhere , stop relying on what the press say, get out an about and find out for yourself, ill bet you a pound to a penny a press badge is on your wish list,

An i have been to England games , never paid for a ticket though theve always been freebies that why i went, and ive never met anyone more of tosspots than England supporters, half of them dont know who plays for who. Half of them are just gangs of thugs who meet up at an England game for a scrap against other rival clubs, they bring there club flags with them to an England game , why because no one notices there fecking club even exists , why take a northamton town, or Tourkey untd flag, It gives them a chance to mix with the big boys and sprout sh.it,

And regarding that Americans burning liverpool shirts . Arsed
It will bring them to back into the spotlight again though , because the tele will give reasons for why there doing it and them two will be in the news again.

Anything that makes them two put in a bad light i dont care , theve had it quiet and easy for far to long , its only ever been talked about in England . now lets take it to the world stage , let the world know about these two, let them fecking squirm . there faces being shown and the reason why ,
HE WHO BETRAYS WILL ALWAYS WALK ALONE

Lets move away from this burning flags issue. They will be lighting up the skys with them in Mancester tonight after the news that has come out about their owners money problems, not that I care about them.

I can see part of your point,in that the spotlight will be on H&G.Part of that light will be shared due to fractions that oppose the burning of flags or shirts and solely focus on scolding the ''fire starters'' .

In today's technologically and web-obsessed/driven society a message can spread in nano seconds and by biblical proportions through the web.The U..S is a sport mad country and there are tons of sport blogs/online radio stations that can be contacted easily and they could pin the tail on the proverbial donkey.

A lot of the fight against the criminals is local and should go global. And with a bit of dignity I feel.

I understand the emotion and passion, and fully comprehend how all this came about. But with these kind of actions you will split the people. And I know the saying about bad publicity, but I don't always think it works out in the long run.So in synergy with these protests and marches, there should be a web-based propaganda machine that will provide some context for them.I'm just spouting ideas here.

I live in the Netherlands, and I've been a Feijenoord and Liverpool fan al my life.Feijenoord is another club that's been mismanaged and is so broke they cannot even sign players on a free.NOBODY would have ever believed it was possible, but it as real and dire as it gets.I'm almost to the point were I feel numb and battered, for the fact that nobody seems to care how some of the greatest clubs in the world get raped by soulless businessman and bankers. So everyday I have look at this Shankly video from and dream of simpler but so much better time:

Shankly's famous quotes

Burning flags.............still? ???
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

FFS how many times have you got to chew something before you swallow ? It's done ! Shouldn't have been, but it's done.
If you're scouse you'd realise that we get the blame if we've done it or not. Live with it. It's over.

the thing is mate its not over in the view of the americans.
going by the ameican new forums (used for news feeds in american but open to others) they are very upset about it, Liverpool fans aare being called all sorts of names on them.

they dont see it as Anti G&H but only as anti  american.

I dont give a shít what americans think, this is LIVERPOOL, not Alabama.

One other point, the yanks abuse so many innocent people in Iraq, Afghanistan and a multitude of other countries (and I mean torture, beatings and kill) that they need to put their own house in order before having the gall to criticise Liverpool fans. We dont need any yankie 'holier than thou' attitudes on this forum thanks.

And Lakes, stop brown nosing every one who has a contrarian view simply so you can make an argument.......   :Oo:
