Yes, I'm finally starting a topic on football, lets see how my record starts? I'm thinking definately with a win.

Absolutely horrible fans. Don't care what you say. Neanderthals with knuckles dragging along the floor. Scar faced drug fuelled eejits who sing songs about felatio with monkeys... They would have attacked me on the train on the way back from the cup final a few years ago if they weren't so busy inbreeding and snorting things off of the backs of the setas on the trains...

Really hope we beat them, and with the players we have and the fact that the Hammers actually like to play footie and not park the bus we could really win this, 3-0 I'm saying.

Hopefully this will give us a nice reminder of happy times against the Hammers

We are going to be up against a West Ham team who are scrapping for their Premier League lives so it could be a tense encounter. This Premier League football blog expects a tight affair with few goals, but i still think we should have enough to get a 2-0 or maybe 3-0 lead. West Ham have a struggling attack and i would hope our forwards can cause problems for their defence - which has to be low on form. Lets keep our dreams alive for the season with a win.

I doubt it.

I just hope he plays Kuyt upfront and not Ngog.

I can see the following happening with Torres -

West Ham - Rested
Atletico Madrid - Play
Burnley - Rested
Atletico Madrid - Play
Chelsea - Play/Sub
Hull - Rested

Season end - Knee operation

Out of world cup, less chance of sale. The last thing we want is to be out of CL and Torres having a storming World Cup, shooting hit value through the roof.

If Torres doesnt play we will probably have a tough encounter that will end in either a 1-0 win or a 1-1 draw.

If he does play... we will win 3-0 :)

Or finally give Babel a chance or two, why is it more often N'Gog than anyone else covering Torres when Kuyt is second top scorer and even Babel is supposedly a striker

I agree

Babel may not have the ability to hold up play very well but he has a hell of a lot of pace and has a decent shot.

If Torres is definetly not playing then I would like to see:

                                       Reina

                Johnson        Carra      Kyrgiakos      Agger

               Maxi         Aquilani       mascherano    Benayoun

                                      Gerrard

                                             Babel

Or, heres a novel idea...

Why not play Babel and Kuyt up top?

Hey Benitez what about it? eh? Two stikers? Eh? Remember that?

Not many teams play with two strikers these days, its bloody wierd. I remember when 4-4-2 was everyones standard formation

Now its 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1

I think this will be a walk in the park. I expect 2-0 or maybe 3-0 even without Torres.

                              Reina
Johnson           Carra         Big Greek       Agger

Maxi              Aquilani       Masch          Babel

                         N'gog     Kuyt

Gerrard and Torres rested for the Europa league.

I don't want any negativos posting on this thread and ruining it with their "beating west Ham at home is a massive achievement given we've got our owners" nonsense. Lets be positive and honest, West ham are a pile of sh!t and being a good team with good players we ought to flippin murder em.

I'm going to be doubly positive and say that I expect us to win 4-0 and put to bed once and for all any doubts that we won't finish in the top seven.
