Here is what will happen, Liverpool will score to make it 2-1, then as liverpool are on top, Dowd will send a liverpool player off (or gift spurs a penalty).

Except for the small fact that Spurs are 2-0 up.

Had more than enough chances to score at least one goal.

That would explain the 2-1 bit....

If Dempseys was a freekick (that led to there second) then how in the hell wasnt Gerrard given a penalty?

I've been hearing nonsense like this for the past 3 years. Spirit and missing hatfuls of chances do not put points on the table.

Clint Dempsey is American, so for that reason and that reason alone, it was a well deserved challenge (I jest, but I do dislike Americans).

Why's it nonsense? Would you rather they just took it?

Gotta make a chance before you can bury it.

Venting time:

This team has enough liabilities on it already in the shape of Henderson and Downing for two of our most influential players in Gerrard and Reina to be playing so far off an acceptable level.

I HATE GARETH BALE

If it were few years ago I'd still believe that we can turn a game like this around with Gerrard inspiring the whole team and even netting a late, 30 yard shot him self to make it 2-2 or even 2-3. But those days were a long time ago. Even though the boys are showing spirit and had more than enough chances to score at least one goal, I can't see us getting something from this.
