Well obviously it's a massive massive game for us (aren't they all these days?). Fail to win here, and we would then probably have to beat the Mancs the following week to remain in any sort of contention. Win at Sunderland and a draw at Home to the Mancs wouldn't be a wrist slasher, draw there and we are needing snookers. I really do believe that if we lose there beating the Mancs may be more about kicking them in the b0llocks and making ourselves feel better than it is about putting us back in the title race.

The absolute key is obviously how we handle Darren bent and Kenwyn Jones if they play with both up top, and I think they will. Defend properly and snuff those two out and we should be able to win, but if we don't we could be bang up against it. I would definately play Gerrard in central midfield, as Cattermole will eat Lucas for breakfast IMHO if we decide to play him.

Select sensibly and play properly and I fancy us to get home 2-1, with inevitably Darren Bent scoring their goal.

bigmick is right. it's all about cutting off the supply to their front two. despite their decent start, sunderland are still average imo. we were linked with turner before he signed for them and he's a decent signing. andy reid is a very good player but isn#t the most mobile and richardson is suspended. their defence is still really weak. i watched them beat wolves 5-2 a few weeks ago and had wolves taken their chances they could have got something. they cretaed chances at will.

i'll go for a  2-1 win.

I want Agger back once and for all, we need a win, and hopefully I will bring good news about Torres.

So far I can't bring good news, because Guiza is injured and it seems Torres will play upfront alone like in Liverpool both against Bosnia and Armenia, and I fear the pitches of countries like Armenia.

This is a tougher fixture than last season because they have a good manager and are playing far better under Bruce.

We simply cannot afford to drop any points but this won't be easy.

1-2

Tough match and one which will be a rough game i suspect. If our defense sorts themselves out then im sure we could get a win here. Considering we have lost against chelsea and need a win under our belt im sure the players will perform.
0-2 liverpool!

I'd say we have a better chance of one of Lakes's predictions coming true  or a one liner from Mick :D
