First midweek game of the season and they'll be non-stop after this! Looks like it will be the same starting 11 as Bournemouth with Matip and Jones possibly making the bench. Update on injuries from Klopp's pre-match press conference:

- Matip and Jones are back in training so might be on the bench
- Jota back in training on Thursday and Thiago “slightly later”
- Calvin Ramsay and Kelleher back outside so probably not far off either
- No mention of Konate, Keita or Ox. Although Konate did post a picture of himself in the gym so assume it's not too serious
- Nunez's final game of his 3 match suspension so will be available for the derby on the weekend

Newcastle are a strong side, they held Man City to a draw. It will be a tough match that's all I know.

Good to see Curtis and Matip back on the bench.

This is a weak Newcastle team without Callum Wilson, Bruno Guimaraes, and Allan Saint-Maximin. Really should be putting them away.

I have zero Sympathy with the current situation. We know what the problems are.
