Another defeat. Yes it was a nothing game but this seasons champions league campaign has been disgraceful.

Yeah, it was a nothing game with a massively rotated team but we had PRIDE to play for, sadly that seems to be something completely lacking in this team this season.

Wouldn't say players didn't play for pride today but yet again lack of talentis just screaming here.

First half it was if Fiorentina played with 15 players ,our CB couldn't get the ball to midfield and even then we lost the ball after one two passes..

Aqua man looks rusty and is still a long way from performance fitness ,Kuyt looked miserable and both Yossi and Stevie couldnt hang to the ball first half.

2nd half we looked more lively and accurate but still no real support from defenders and wingers.

Not a massive lose but another pin in Rafa's deflating doll - still a long way for us to go before we see the light...

Skertel should really be looking for a new job ,Kuyt should get a long holiday see the world he looks trashed.

I don't know, boys.

I know we lost but I think there are a lot of positives tonight.

Aquaman looks the business to me. Yes, he faded in the second half - knackered - but he's playing in the Alonso role, an Alonso who likes to get forward. Yes, yes.

I thought Benny had a poor game but he scored.

Stevie is starting to come back into form.

Giving Darby 90 mins - despite the mistake. We all make them but we seem to be nailed for EVERY mistake. I watched the Manc Fulham game the other week and Dindane had 3 sitters and missed all of them - if it was us he'd have a hat trick.

Torres looks up for it and Pacheco looks really sharp.

There was a good fifteen minutes in the 2nd half we're our football was crisp and confident. I think all this augers well for Sunday.

And Ciggy - that's awful. Sorry to hear that.

It does lend some perspective to how hot under the collar things get on here. A lad I used to work with has just come back from Afghanistan after losing both his legs and an arm when he stepped on a mine. It's a complete bull.s.h...i.t war
