A good result but we were exposed just a little too easily at times...especially in the air. Gotta get the lead out of the boots there lads.

I think you are right Phil (or the Drummer variety), Everton could very well be going down.  :sniffle

:D

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.        BILL SHANKLY

i was just thinking the same to myself...they don't look like they can hold things together for longer than a 10 min period.

I feel a little sorry for Moyes cos he seems to be getting continually shafted from all sides. Noone will sign for him and the players he has got are letting him down weekly. Who'd be a manager?

Again, this was my thought. I was really hoping to see a really good hammering, 5 or 6 would have been brilliant.

I know that they have to play safe and preserve energy for the rest of the season and all of that, but just once, to see a real hammering would do us all a lot of good I think.

good game though, we looked comfortable generally.

Some questions at the back that a better team might expose if we are not careful

I was disappointed with Sissoko tonight. He seemed completely out of sorts. While I still have to be convinced by Cisse (keeping in mind his goal was well taken). There is no way he has come on like Crouch and therefore you have to ask the question...is he any more than a squad player. ???

That was a very stupid foul by Areta, very unlike a professional he should be. Last minute of the game, pull a :censored: like that, no wonder Everten are in such bad shape in EPL.

The game was over they went down to 10 men, LFC showed grace by not attacking too hard and rub it in, shame on Everten by stupid fouls like that.

Not sure I agree entirely with ther positive effects a drubbing would achieve, al beit it would be good for us the fans.

Some players might read it as, "ok, we're good, we can take the foot off the pedal now"...and then see complacency creep into the game. Nah, keep it tight and retain the lean, mean fighting machine mentality.

Good result, professional performance. Played well when we went forward most of the times.

I'm not too bothered about the goal conceded, but I am disapointed with the back four tonight. Reason being is that they simply didn't win enough headers in their penalty box, and that gave Everton a chance of scoring.

Lost my voice after the first two goals
