If he loses tonight, he has ready made excuses - injuries and suspensions. If he wins, it would seem even more brilliant in spite of the injuries and suspensions. And if he fields a weakened team, it wasn't just his decision, but also Roman's as he consulted with the latter. At the end of it all, Jose is never wrong isn't it?!

This is from a manager that had the likes of Drogba and Robben in his side

I can see Chelsea playing negative football today...he'll park his bus and play on the counter, trying to disrupt our rhythm. If we can start off like we did the other games and get a couple of goals in by half time we'll get the right results else I can see Chelsea spoiling our title run in.

In anyway Maureen has got his excuses ready with gis expensively assembled backup team and the usual referre's bias bullshite.

Today will see if our team will grow up and be a man or we're still a little short to be considered a great team.  #YNWA

:Oo:

Defender for an attacker ? Not sure what Brendans plan is there, surely we're not afraid of Chelsea's "strike" force    ???

I had the butterflies too... nothing a can of stella hasn't settled though!

Sturridge can't be 100% fit or he would have started.  He could still come on and make a difference like he did at Goodison.

At least their tactics are predictable.... sit back and defend then use the pace of their front 3 on the break.  I'm sure Rodgers will have his tactics right.... we just have to execute them properly.

Their midfield looks very immobile to me and the movement of Coutinho, Sterling and Suarez in those pockets outside their box is where we could win it I think.

Come on redmen YNWA!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not so sure about this Lucas in midfield thing but I think that we'll still do them. Sturridge could be a good impact sub as well.

Anyway, I think that we are all under the false impression that Chelsea will park the bus. I actually think that they'll come straight at us because that's our weakness and Mourinho knows it.

I know what you mean mate, but the likes of Lampard and Mikel are too slow for a pressing game like they played at Stamford Bridge, plus they won't want to expose a back 4 that's never played together before.  They will sit back.

its surely a fitness issue. I imagine that Sturridge can't be 100% fit, enough to play the whole game.
