I seem to be saying this every week but I hope Jurgen knows what he is doing, Chelsea lost yesterday, Arsenal are currently 1 down against Southampton and at least 1 team from City and United are going to drop points today as well. How often does that happen? How often do we get presented with an opportunity to make ground on so many of our rivals all at once?
This is a derby game and we are resting our best player...

Pedestrian midfield, is Jurgen afraid that any flair we have in the squad will be cancelled out  by fat Sams tactics and he's decided to substitute Brawn for Brain ?

My confidence for 3 points in this game has taken a knock   :(

This is a BS lineup no matter if we win..Klopp has stopped being funny he is just becoming a smarta$$ taking stupid decisions..

Mine too. He did the same thing versus Chelsea. He must think our top players are not capable of playing two games in a week. I'd have started strong, then subbed early second half if we had a decent lead. :(

I predict we will bag at least 3 goals today :)

There's a few wisps of snow mate but it's ***** all really. It's not sticking or anything like that.

Yes it's hardly a blizzard is it. That won't ruin my day, what will ruin my day is if we don't get three points today, with that dodgy line up.

Also, Solanke has hardly featured or scored in the first team. Why is Jurgen starting him in the Derby!? I don't see the logic in that. Do you think Man Utd will make several changes to their main Xi to face City??? It's bizarre

As Souness just said if Jurgen has to rotate why doesn't he do it on Wednesday when we play West Brom? I don't think he knows how important this fixture is to Liverpool fans.

He'll only get stick if we don't win.
I'm expecting a scrappy opening with crunching tackles. Fat Sam will tell em to get stuck in and kick us about.

Apart from the midfield I actually don't mind that starting line-up. Using key players like Coutinho and Firmino as impact subs has proven to be effective so I'd trust Klopp on that. Solanke has potential and knows how to play the pressing game so I'm OK with him starting as well. Milner in midfield however could to be trouble.

We have a good chance to make a gap between us and Arsenal and also go on level points with Chelsea, I hope we don't screw it up as we usually do.

Imagine the look on The Bitter players face when at the 60th min we bring on a fresh Fermino and Coutinho to run at them? I would play Can instead of Milner tho...he has been great as an impact sub

We're playing well. Good tempo and pressing. Robertson looks sharp

The main problem is that the players getting the majority of the ball are Hendo and Milner..Ox hardly contributing to the game as well..need to start kicking from distance as well in this weather.. Robertson playing very good.
