Liverpool Football Club - Games

This corresponding fixture last year pretty much ended our title defence and season in one go. They beat us at anfield in the return fixture for the first time in god knows how long as well so to say we owe them one is a bit of a understatement. A big win please lads, a really big win.

Everton have fallen apart at the moment so lets hope we can win by at least 2. The concern is that desperate players do stupid things as we saw last season. Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Yerry Mina and Tom Davies are out injured, centre back Mason Holgate is suspended.  Richarlison is the concern, he's out of control and likely to over react. DH.

Wouldn't surprise me if Virgil got left out for this one.

You need a steady head at the back Yakka, you have to play him. It's more important that Fab has a good game in front to take off the pressure.

3 days rest from Southampton so I think the only change will be Matip for Konate. Then a couple of changes for Wolves on Saturday.

They are in a bad way and struggling with key players out injured. The "form goes out the window in these games" line is rubbish and we should be comfortably dispatching this current Everton side with their problems and our good form.

We won't be leaving out Virgil for a difficult away game but I understand where Yakka is coming from. Everton's biggest success last season (and in recent years in general) was ending our season by injuring our most important player. They're in a similar situation now, they have absolutely nothing to play for even though it's barely December, and they're in such poor form that they know they'll probably lose and likely by a big margin. Now I'm not saying they'll actively try to injure our players but they'll definitely not hold back and would do everything they can to stop us from obliterating them, including throwing themselves into dangerous challenges, like Pogba did a few games ago for example.

Really angry about last year, I hope we humiliate them. I’m sorry that Rafa is their manager but as has been mentioned they ruined our year and were not even punished for it. We need some football justice!

I see them playing very defensive and physical, I just hope we come out of the match unscathed.

I'm hoping that Rafa being sensible will tell the blueshite to focus on playing football and not to act like thugs.

Hope no one gets injured.

The last match was borderline GBH at times. Sadly they will be up for hurting our lads again today.

Don't care about smashing them to be honest. I'll be happy with just the 3 points and no injuries.
