Liverpool Football Club - Games

We know the importance of this game, Everton are playing some sizzling football, if we defend like a sunday league team they'll take us apart. However, if this is a game where we turn up and start banging the goals in we might have too much for them.

So 2 possible scenarios here I reckon...

We turn up and play at our best...  LFC 3 - 0 Everton
We defend like girls...   LFC 1 - 3 Everton

It's in our own hands!

Everton have conceded the most goals thisseason and scored the second most they like goals in there games

which means ill go for a 1-0 Balotelli

can't wait for this  :buttrock
both of us are having sluggish starts to the season but they will fancy themselves for all 3 points. it will be a tough game for us as they will be physical and have a more settled team. we need to contest for challenges and really look to get that early goal to breed a bit of confidence seen as we could have quite a few debutantes in this fixture.
we need a good performance in this to show that we are capable of turning it around for ourselves.
il be optimistic and go for  a 2-1 win, sterling and balotelli

Please, for the love of god, don't let Lucas play in this one...

I think something like this, with perhaps Sturridge coming on from the bench

Why do people keep putting Balotelli as our advanced striker ?

We should let him drop off and do his thing, it's something he's already shown he prefers to do. It would certainly give the oppo more to think about and maybe provide our man up top (whoever he is) with a bit more space.

Agree, but in my "game plan" we're currently short of other options.   :(

Although not the best player in the squad If Borini had gone then our front line would look very very thin not sure if there was plans to buy another striker should borini have left but surely thats gotto be addressed in Jan

I never enjoy watching derby games, there's just too much riding on them.
