Liverpool Football Club - Games

great performance and Torres is looking better with each match.  The great Liverpool comeback is still underway. A couple more wins and we'll be in the top 4 again  :buttrock

I think it is safe to say noone will question Roy today, we won 2-0 against the most in-form team in England. And no one should either.

But people who slagged off Torres ... how must they feel right now ?

The only thing I have to question Roy on today is why he continues to persist with Skrtel. Catalogue of mistakes today. Anyway we are up to 9th now. Joint points with Bolton, Spudz and Sunderland. Wigan next, we need a win and a few goals to get our goal difference sorted.

Kudos to the manager, we were soaking up a little too much pressure in the 2nd half for my liking but we prevailed in style. Hes earned himself that Werthers tonight! (just kidding) :D

Yep Skrtel deffo looked the weakest link, maybe the big greek to come back in for the next game and hopefully Agger will be back soon as the long term solution.

The only criticism of Hodgson that I have is that we still sit far too deep when in the lead, defending in that way eventually you leak in goals and had it not been for Reina we could have been in a worser situation.  I would rather us hold onto a lead by pressing the opposition instead of sitting so deep inviting all that pressure.  Our possession in the second half was almost non existant.

Hey Rocky, do you still want Torres sold?

RE the 2nd half we sat back pretty much the whole time and invited them on so of course they looked more dangerous. Had nothing to do with Dogface.
