I'm not so sure about Maxi. He was really bad last time he played. He must have been training hard and doing well tho. If he can play how he's capable then it can be a very good move, bit it is risky. However with no Carroll in, I'm glad we've finally dropped Downing to the bench.

I'm shocked Torres and Meireles have both been benched to be honest. I thought they'd both play. Although maybe AVB has realized that when we play against our old mates who went to "bigger clubs" we beat the living sh!t out of them.

I don't like this line up. I like that Kenny's trying something different but I don't think this will work. We hardly have any creativity and pace and our midfield will get destroyed with only Adam and Lucas. But let's see how they do.
