When I watch mascherano in argentine shirt he actually looks more than a ball winner.

But hes playing in a squad of world class players. Unfair comparison me thinks.

I don't believe that tbh. Doesn't make the slightest but of sense. I know footballers aren't the brightest sparks in the word but you'd have thought they'd have the brains to confront the owners or speak out the press instead of not trying on the football field. Oh wait, even better, maybe Liverpool are involved in match fixing???

so saying he hasnt improved under rafa is fair.

There is no point in analysing national teams, players can play brilliantly in World cups, and otherwise be sh!t.


Mascherano's matured with us, he was outstanding when he joined us last season and this season he's been one of our best performers.

He has definitely improved.

according to many on here torres,gerrard, alonso, reina, carragher are all world class players so where is the diffrence

No I just think his allowed more freedom in the argentina side.  Rafa is negative and to me doesnt want players to try different things and move outside the box.
