but that performance was a total team disgrace and rafa needs to sort this out, what i fear is not the sacking of rafa, but the question where are we heading as a football team

The best I got from the match was on five live which of course was scum v pompey. The players have to take responsibility also, that was a strong line up out there tonight.

a loss earlier would have given us a kick up the backside i reckon, drawing this amount of games and then losing is even worse.

:censored: disgraceful performance from what i heard, and the  35 mins that i watched.......not happy at all with that.

What's the other answer? He's about as much a technical genius as my hampster.

The basics of being a manager is picking the team and well tbf he's not putting the strongest 11 out each week. Kewell, Kuyt, Auerllio etc.

Btw Carra may have "cost" us the game, but how many times has he saved us before? I'm livid atm. The only good news that I hope comes of this is the announcement tomorrow that Rafa's been sacked.

Rafa bought Crouch specifically for away games so he could hold the ball up. Why isn't he giving him a chance??

i am a pro rafa, but i think the recent 5 draws just has allowed me to put things into perspective, whatever he is doing with these players is not translating into success on the pitch

wat a joke, we are heading dwn d road of d likes of newcastle...im begining to see a resemblance in terms of results anyway.
we need to bring in a manager dat has the backing and beliefe of the owners, rafa doesnt have this and he knows it.
hes a great manager but he can't bring us any further.
i still cant believe it...west ham. watta disgrace!!!

i just wonder what the pro rafa fans will say

they will say its all the yanks fault.  The interview should be funny.  No doubt rafa will say we controlled the game but missed chances.

Explain to us all right now what Rafa done wrong today, then. He made all the right subs at the right time. Fielded an initially decent team. What else could he have done apart from starting Crouch up front? Our players were just sh*t. Gerrard was sh*t. Alonso was sh*t. Kewell was disgraceful. Torres was w@nk today. Carra gave away a pen.

Now, you come on and tell me that those players above are all poor players and aren't good enough for this club. I dare anyone to  say it. They won't because it's not true. Fact is, none of our big guns have been playing anywhere near their best lately. I wonder why.

pace on the counter attack

so rafa doesnt select babel, doesnt select pennant

picks the slow coach brigade....kuyt, kewell, benayoun

he picks players that everyone else can see are out of form.  Its madness.  I cant believe £10 mil was spent on kuyt and still rafa cannot accept his not good enough.  Rafa thinks workrate and running like a headless chicken is more important than ability.  Pennant is a joke as well.

the recent form is embarassing (in no order)

draw vs middelsboro = woeful

draw vs villa = woeful (cause it was at home)

defeat vs west ham = woeful

draw vs wigan = woeful

draw vs man city = woeful

win vs derby = saved by last minute heroics
