Id want to see us line up like this for this one..

                              Reina

Arby             Carra               Agger           Aurelio

                  Gerrard         Mascherano

Kuyt                       Benny                        Riera

                            Torres

With all the players the key players they have missing and all that i cant see them posing much of a threat when going forward... Should be one way if we manage to get our passing game going but with Alonso out im not sure we would want to risk Lucas having a bad game here... I say we put out our best attacking lineup and go at them from the go looking for a convincing win.. A Kuyt and Torres pairing upfront wouldnt be such a bad idea either i wouldnt think ..

That's the team I'd like to see.

More likely though it'll be Lucas/Masch midfield with Gerrard pushed on and then either Benayoun or Riera on the left.  Skrtel may well start ahead of Agger too.

Although we would like to see that, it won't happen, Lucas will start.

We will nick this one, maybe 2-1 win

Absolutly gutted an inconsoleable at the mo. I was going tomorrow but have been let down for me tickets :( Me daughters mate tried to get me two at short notice but all his quota has gone , did his best though,

This is gonna be a very very hard game imo, there not a bad little side, an there playing well at the mo, pushing for a Euro spot,Its gonna be tough but i think a 1-0 to us second half, just to keep the fire in our bellies burning ,

Its strange ive always had a bit of a soft spot for West Ham i suppose its with me being old an the way they used to play football, maybe thats why , I think if i was a cockney i would of supported them

An im gutted Xabi is out , do yeh know what i wish someone would land one on that Barton, knock the ba,stard out

Ive pmd you with the best pub Bav for us

doesn't look like we are going to have any CMs on the bench if we start with Lucas, Mascherano, and Gerrard. Spearing in injured and Palsson, Plessis, and Irwin all played tonight in Amsterdam, and our best U18 CM, Adam Pepper is injured.  Not that we would really consider playing half of those people anyway, but if somebody gets hurt, either we have to drop Gerrard back and play Yossi behind Torres, or play 4-4-2.

While I've quoted previously that our record at Upton Park is P13 W5 D3 L5 F15 A15, there is another interesting little breakdown of that record. There have been two 3-0 wins, one for either side, and the rest have all been within one goal.

It should be close, although I hope it isn't and we win comfortably. West Ham hopefully will be distracted a bit by their possible exclusion from Europe even if they do qualify, perhaps some of them already thinking of sun, sea and sangria, while others may have their minds on their futures rather than the clubs. Did I hear somewhere that this new renamed Europa League or whatever it is, starts in June?!? (might be the pre pre pre qualifiers or some of the teams that dropped out of the 2003 CL at some point  )
