Saturday    10th......Spurs (Away)
Tuesday     13th......Real Betis (Away)
Sunday      18th.......Man Utd (Home)
Saturday    20th.......Birmingham (Away)
Wednesday 28th.......Chelsea (Home)

But I dont see why we cant get some decent results :-)

How well do you think we will do ?

(just thought we could chat about the games instead of the damn transfers :grinning: )

Their all tough games but to be honest as a Liverpool fan thats the way I prefer it due to the fact that we raise our game for these type of fixtures.

Conversley it means we often DON'T tend to raise our games for the so called "lesser" fixtures and having looked at our run in from April-May  when we play amoungst others West Ham, Fulham, Wigan etc.....we had better have wrapped the Premiership up by then :D

Yeah i was looking at the run in and my initial thoughts was if we are within sniffin distance of the leaders we could be in with a chance .....but now you mention it the way we make it hard work against some of the lesser teams combined with the fact that they will be fighting the relegation battle !!!!! Think I am clutching at straws lol :sniffle

i know its useless (and some ppl call it dumb) to predict scores but i cant help myself.. so here goes..

Saturday    10th......Spurs (Away)  1-1 (cisse)
Tuesday     13th......Real Betis (Away)  0-1 (gerrard)
Sunday      18th.......Man Utd (Home) 1-0 (Alonso)
Saturday    20th.......Birmingham (Away) 0-0
Wednesday 28th.......Chelsea (Home) 1-0 (Morientes)
Sunday       2nd........Chelsea (Away) 0-0

dun see too many high scoring games this coming sept.
I fancy a result in spain against betis as we tend to perform better in europe but a draw away to birmingham and a home win over the scum.

That'll leave us unbeaten in the premiership and a good standing in the champs league group. Which also means we only concede one goal in all competitions in the month of sept. Since our strikers are finding it tough at the moment, our defence would just have to step up abit.

Hands up, those who want the above results.

  Brilliant ,six games and we only concede one goal .   :D

Hope it happens mate ,but I won't be betting on it.
Also hoping we score more than the measly four you anticipate.

at the rate our strikers are finding the back of the net at the moment, 4 goals will not be surprising. Hopefully Cisse and moro find their feet this week playing for france and spain respectively.

And 0-0 away at Heskey's home isnt really that pessimistic a prediction considering expectations were sky high b4 the sunderland game. Maybe a single goal might decide that tie but to tell ya the truth, im actually more confident abt the manure game than the birmg one.  I'll stick with what i already posted, 4 goals scored and 1 conceded for sept. I will be happy with that and hopefully we find our goal scoring shoes sooner rather than later.
