Im gonna be sh.itting myself that our players come through these games ok i can just see that Matterazzi havin a dig at Torres, im finding it unbeilievable that these friendlies are being played at such an important part of the season and with the champions league coming up on top aswell.

Lets kidnap Torres and Masher and lock them up until the Everton game

Torres has gone for internationals and twice he has come back injured , last time he missed the derby , was in a race in being fit for the arsenal game where he quiet the whole day and recently injured again . Internationals shud be cancelled at such a late stage in the season whr trophies are won /lost and why is tevez not going?

Tevez isn't going because Ferguson is a smart manager. Look at Ryan Giggs how many poxy friendlies did he play in before he retired from international duty? Ferguson always withdraws his players from international duty when the match has little importance.

And nanny are we kidnapping Mascheranho and Torres for the benifit of Liverpool or just so you can be locked up with them
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

rafa should make up some injuries for our players so that they won't play... ferguson has been doing that all the time... too bad rafa is too honest and ferguson is a cunning :censored:...

You'd think Rafa would have more influence on the Spanish FA, then again a lot of FAs think taggart is the best thing ever so are bound to kiss his :censored:

Bah, hard luck. There are 3-0, and 3-0, not all the 3-0 are the same.

Manchester might be playing better before the first goal, but not outplaying us IMHO (and all the commentator around here). Should you get a cheeky goal or they get the first, the game changes a lot. They got their first goal, and we received a big blow, in those minutes we were a bit groggy. Then with Mascherano sent off a 3-0 is not a science fiction scenario. You can try and draw a game, but if you don't put the bus and try to look for your goal, it's relatively easy to receive 2 goals from a quality opposition.

As for your prediction that it would affect the team, I think it depends on how the 3-0 happens. Actually I think this defeat will bring a bit of rage necessary for next games. The team come from a good series of results, and they'll be desiring to show that it was not luck, but really a good form of the team. I don't think it will be a big blow for the future, as it happened.

Man Utd (a) L0-3
Everton (h) W1-0
Arsenal (a) D1-1

Blackburn (h)
Fulham (a)
Birmingham (a)
Man City (h)
Tottenham (a)

So we've picked up four points out of nine which means nineteen are possible and we're three points better off than we were in the same three games last season. In theory we could win all five, although the Champions league might prove a distraction and we've not won at Brum in the league under Rafa.
