The Premier League need to do something NOW or this will be the future for football !

i don't think they can do anything mate, in what way can they stop it

they already own half the club so they can't turn round now and say they can not own it all, they wouldn't have a leg to stand on

Surely a hedge Fund would NOT pass the fit and proper person test !!

they never had to take one as they just took over the shares of gillette

if effect it's the same thing as if RBS took us over they would not have to take such tests

How can it be right that they get an injunction to prevent the sale to NESV but Hicks can sell his shares to Mill.

Don't know much about law but this seems farcical.

Really just clutching at straws here. We are in deep , deep trouble.

We really are doing our best Martin , to keep the faith, but it's bl**dy hard !!!!!

Actually if Huang is behind this deal then it might not be that bad, but if its Mill itself a hedge Fund then its very bad news if they become our owner.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

the legal judgment in the US has NO LEGAL STANDING IN THE UK.

however, RBS has a lot of business in the states and they're not going to run the risk of damaging their business.  This is nothing more than a delaying tactics and, hopefully, the High Court will put this right later today.

Always had a strange feeling how Gilletts shares haven't been mentioned much in the last week. Now I know why, think it was Hicks plan all along if he lost yesterday.

Think the best we can hope for now is Mill to move the club on quick and hope it turns out to be someone who is good for us.

I think out fate is already sealed somehow by some legality which no one currently knows about it, just hope its one that is in our favour.

Keeping the faith just about Martin!

Of course it was. It would explain why neither Hicks or Gillett were absent from the High Court yesterday and it would also explain how and why they could move so fast after the judgement.

Its actually kinda nice to see some Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal fans hoping Liverpool come through this.

This in a way, is football vs business men.
