What happens with Roy? These fellas will bring a new manager in. Wonder who it will be ?
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

this maybe is a dumb question,
but if the boards reserve the right to sell regardless of the owners' concern, why wouldn't they have done it since ages ago?

Because RBS can now call in the money. They had till october to sell the club themselves.

I wouldn't worry too much about the legal proceedings that Twit & tw@t are persuing, anyone in the same situation would try to do the same. They have got themselves in the :censored: and are desperate to hang on. They could be sat at home now with a nice fat wallet if they had accepted DIC's bid of 500 million a while ago, instead the greedy b@stards wanted more. Serves them right.
They will end up like Randolf and Mortimer Duke from Trading places, living in a carboard box in the gutter.

Well I hope the new owners get off to a better start than the manager they appointed.

Totally agree with this. I would hate it if we were to win the league based upon the extravagant spending of a billionanaire. How would we be any different to Chelsea or Man City?

The thing with Liverpool is that without the debt we are perfectly capable of competing at the highest level, especially with the restrictions that are coming in from UEFA relating to spending.

Our commercial revenues are far better than they were at the time of the last takeover (and much higher than pretty much anyone else bar Man U and Arsenal) and with an increase in match-day revenue through either a new stadium or a redevelopment of Anfield I think we'll be fine.

The debt was the problem and with that gone we should be OK.

I'm quietely optimistic but personally I'm happier to be run as a sustainable business than some mega-rich mans plaything.

Huang and Kirdi didn't have the funds available to be an attractive bid, thus the two were rejected. Plus, we didn't have bids, only interests. Also, the club was on for sale in April
