but sad state of affairs- their are the rafa lovers who see nothing else other than singing is name at a game
and those of us who support the team and not individual staff members be it players or manager

MONEY MONEY MONEY

since Rafa took over...

We've been outspent by CHELSEA by 20mill (30mill net).
Spent 60mill !!!! (86mill net) more than MANUTD
Spent 135mill (140mill net!!!!!!!) more than ARSENAL

In his 5.something years in the club.. we've spent a total of 247mill (113mill net) on players...

i blame the owners for everything, infact why do we even need a manager. rafa does nothing. he dosent pick the team, he has no involvement in tactics,or subs.

i dont want to start a who is the most loyal fan debate
but was anyone at the game today
the last 10mins it was like a comedy club in the crowd
laughing not crying, because everything that happend in the second half was a joke.
no one seemed annoyed because it was all done by our manager and how can anyone have a go at god rafa

Yeah 240 mil thats what 12/20 mil players ? yet we have what 2/30 mil plus players ?

Dav mate i support the team the club the tea lady everyone who is associated with this club an that includes Rafa , its not just about singing his name at the games mate ,for me i believe he is the best man for the job, yeh i scratch my head sometimes with the decisions he makes an he sometimes leaves me asking Why why why Rafa lad, I cant put me finger on it but i sincerly believe hes doing his best for us .

I would take Wenger over Benitez. Today, tomorrow or whenever.
Wenger can motivate players; does not sign donkeys or no-hopers; plays beautiful football; promotes from within and knows a quality player when he sees one (How much did Vermaelen cost ?)...

Me too the guy is a footballing god what he has done with arsenal is nothing short of brilliant.For me winning things isn't as inportant as playing good football and thats what arsenal do they will win things tho its written in the stars you can see its gonna happen.Wenger could teach Rafa alot Imo about some aspects in football but when you look at it I doubt Rafa could teach Wenger any thing ? :glare:

Not Rafas fault you mean fact rafa pimping Alonso off behind his back to land wonder maker Barry(got wonder maker of FM2010 lol) didn't him off ? come on lets get back to planet football here for a secound and think about things.

Didn't Alonso make it clear he wanted to leave that season too? I think he did. Fact is, Alonso had it in his mind for a long time that he wanted to go back to Spain. Madrid certainly knew it, and as soon as they came knocking, he was always going to split. He gave us five seasons for such a class player, and cost Rafa only 10 million and made 25 million return on him. Not bad.

See, what the Rafa haters seem to neglect is that when we had the likes of Houllier and Evans in charge (of which I have the upmost respect for) do they think that realistically we'd have had players like Alonso and Torres even playing for us? I don't. Most likely we'd have been all watching Torres playing for Chelsea or Milan with envious glee, wishing we could have such a super star striker instead of Diouf or Heskey.

You've got to be kidding me mate... thats one of the worst posts i've read in a while....
You wouldnt think the likes of Hyypia, Owen, Anelka, Litmanen, Gerrard, Hamann..etc etc would have played for Liverpool in recent times.... Lets not take it too far now... As far as im concerned Torres signed for Liverpool the club not Rafa the manager...

Also dont know where you got your "fact" from but as far as i know Alonso didnt have any intentions of leaving before Rafa tried to sell him... not that i dont think we got good money for him or that we shouldnt have sold him with him wanting to leave or anything...
