Now that Babel's gonna be with us until at least the summer I'd like to see him given a bit more playing time to finally try and prove himself, he certainly can't do it with just a cameo apperance here and there.

they also looked less comfortable once we got a half decent second striker on the pitch, Pachecho. Why the hell does Rafa persist with that donkey "wash" and the stunning one striker formation. :no

Still it's a rafalution isn't it and in Rafa we all trust, trust to send us all to sleep with lullaby football that is.

Because that donkey has got 7 goals and like it or not we don't have a decent striker bar torres. Why do you even bother posting?

Also the donkey scored the winning goal. Agree with Tofeehater, especially the last part.

Don't want to start a N'gog witch hunt he's still just a lad BUT he never seems to break sweat, every game his body language (to me at least) seems to be that of someone playing in a pre season friendly, he just NEVER seems that bothered.

fu'cks sake show some passion lad  :kungfu:

Said it time and again , if babel had even half a footballers brain he would be world class . He's defo got the talent ,just thick as pigsh!t when it comes to actually playing the feckin game .   STOP RUNNING INTO PLAYERS AND USE YER NOGGIN LAD . Looked a threat when he came on last night , which always helps . Anyone notice pancakes movement from the minute he came on . Now that lad has a brain as well as talent .

He could be like a Zola for us.It shows how bad we are in attacking options when we are looking towards the 19 year old spaniard to give us some inspiration

If Babel had got the same opportunity as Lucas and Kuyt you might have seen a different player by now.  Unfortunately Rafa has more interest in hard working mediocre players than those with raw talent.

I would guess that Babel would be starting most games under any other manager but Rafa pays 11.5m to bench him  :lookaround

I just don't get the man, I never will.

I am hoping Babel starts on Sunday with Kuyt up front and Riera on the left we need to attack and score goals, i am also hoping we see more from Pacheco for the rest of the season but i would imagine that would be from the bench.

That's unfair imo mate , you can't honestly say that Babel hasn't had a fair crack of the whip , He's in his third season here and made no further progress and not through the lack of games in the first eleven .

I have just read here that Benitez is backing Babel to come good but i have to wonder how many chances the forward is going to get. He has had three seasons and has showed no sign of fulfilling the potential which everyone thought he had.

We don't exactly have too many options now do we ? Nemeth is off on holliers in Greece; Eggnog is hardly inspiring fear in the opposition; Kuyt is off-form of late.....I don't think we have a whole lot of choice BUT to play the man....unfortunately.

I can't see how they would work together to be honest...Babel is too selfish to play Torres on/through....Torres only has an eye for goal and that's it....
