REAL BETIS VS LIVERPOOL THREAD - all build up, reaction here

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

ooh and high praise from.. none other than..... HANSEN :O

"Liverpool are in a strange situation in the same group as Chelsea and Real Betis away is a hard start, but their form augurs well.

They have done really well in the two away games they have played in the Premiership and looked in control against both Middlesbrough and Tottenham - solid, reliable and resolute.

With those qualities to the fore they came away with two clean sheets and when the questions were asked they answered them emphatically, something that was not happening last season when they capitulated under pressure and many teams were all over them domestically. "

Come on the Pool
Looking forward to the game.Think Betis are a good side but hoping for a win-would take a draw tho.Got to look at the fact we have kept 3 clean sheets in the league and look solid at the back and although we have had 2 draws this was away against 2 of the Uefa cup contenders last season. Was hoping we signed another striker to replace Baros-we should have alot of games this season, but still happy with the strikers we have got.Think it will either be 0-0 or we'll snatch a 1-0.Come on.............

Beware Olivera and Joaquin Sanchez (although joaquin admits interest to us).

A narrow win will sum things up.

Riise 41' with a rocket launcher. (because he will have to practice this before the MU match)
Reds is the sacred colour before this world was born.

Gerrard must still have an International hangover.  I knew he didn't look fit in those two games. :(

I think it will be a tight match but we should come away with the win. But I can't believe Riise is not playing  ???  as IMO he is a lot better than Zenden.
