Well done West Ham. We're still 8 points clear at the top even after a run of some not so great results. However, don't want to be nitpicking, but had we been a bit more clinical in front of goal we could have been well clear by now and could have concentrated most of our efforts on the CL. We're still in an amazing position though, no doubt.

Thought Arsenal would smash West Ham and start cranking up the pressure, but turns out their owners are tighter than ours and their lack of signings in Jan will cost them

Agree that we should be out of sight in the title race, but think we are in an excellent position now to win the league.

Even a draw against City wouldn't be a bad result, given Arsenal are away to Forest on Wednesday (a match I don't think they'll win)

Stick a fork in, the title race is all but done.

The closest Arsenal will get to us this season will be the guard of honour their players will have to give us when they visit Anfield in May.

Despite all the media hype about Slot, after 27 games (before last night) LFC had just 3 points more than the same stage last season under Klopp.  :Oo:

This got me thinking, what about all the other teams after 27 games? So I put together a comparison of last season and this season after 27 games. Some real improvers and some awful declines:

                Difference
Nottingham Forest 28
Brentford FC 12
AFC Bournemouth 9
Everton FC 9
Crystal Palace 8
Chelsea FC 7
Fulham FC 7
Brighton & Hove Albion 4
Newcastle United 4
Liverpool FC 3
Arsenal FC -7
West Ham United -9
Manchester United -11
Aston Villa -14
Manchester City (M) -15
Wolverhampton Wanderers -16
Tottenham Hotspur -17

So all the usual top 6 clubs are having a howler of a season except Liverpool.
Part of Everton's improvement is the points deduction from last season, so they're still sh!te.

5 wins and a draw is all we need. And that’s assuming Arsenal win all of their remaining games (which they won’t).
