New kit deal 25m a year - Warrior deal biggest in uk history

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I liked adidas. Anyway the important thing is it means more £££ for the club and since there is no debt that money should go straight into the team/funding development of Anfield.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

Amazing how different the reaction is to this news in comparison to what it would have been if we were still owned by tweedle dee and tweedle dumb. Under them we'd have seen none of this money.

Here's a link to the story from the DailyFail Click ME!!

If the deal was commencing from this summer, then yes I would be worried about their marketing and distribution operations. But Warrior Sports and New Balance (their parent company) have got 12 months to put everything in place and when we are the biggest contract/client they have on their books I would imagine they are going to be pulling out all the stops to make things go smoothly.

I'm quite surprised by this deal, I didn't even know the kit deal was due for renewal and I'm even more surprised that Adidas have been out manouvered by a small relatively unknown company. This deal is yet another feather in the cap of the club's new juggernaut like marketing department.

It's a million miles away from the dark days of T & T, the club wouldn't have seen any of this money and no doubt we'd have been renamed the Liverpool Warriors or something!!  :p

LOL Adidas probably didn't give a :censored: about the Warrior logo until now.  I smell a lawsuit coming.  Their logo is basically the Adidas logo upside down.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

well they certainly seem to have the marketing aspect of our club at heary. Lebron and now this. Certainly exciting anyway and if it means more money and less debt, it means stability
