well you may find yourself arguing with a certain Mr Benitez on that one.
i'm not even saying that he's good. but we need to see a player have at least a dozen games in his preferred role to see what he can do.

thats why this is a forum.
i can have my own opinion on players.
Just coz the manager likes him, dosent mean i have 2
and yes i would argue with our manager on the subject given a chance.
your not telling me u agree with everything done and said at liverpool just coz your a supporter
Take Heskey i hated him from day 1, both on club and country form
but did i cheer when he scored (YES)
would i have liked to be prvoed wrong about him (YES)
If Biscan turns out to be the new Pele or somthing i would be happy, i just carnt see it happening

whoa there Dav i wasnt stepping on your opinion mate, i was just discussing myne, in relation to yours.
everyone gives reasons to back up their point of view, i was using benitez as one of mine. i certainly dont think you must agree with what the manager says. if you read my post about houllier .........

Harry Kewell has to improve from last season (else no justice to his talent). I also think the biscan will do a good job if Hamann or Gerrard (to a lesser extent), get injured or suspended.

If GH and RB have both liked Biscan, then he must be of value, regardless of what we've seen.

Maybe he's another Hesky in disguise, shoulda, woulda, coulda......but didn't

we've already lost Smicer, so we might be happy to have the Croation Cantana

heskey was never better than good. i'm absolutely made up we sold him.watching liverpool was a bad experience when he was playing

Biscan has ONE decent Pre season friendly game against a 2nd Division side and allof a sudden he is destined for great things , like Dav i say "Do me a favour"

Quality players perform in anumber of positions.

I expect Kewell to make a bigger impact this season but an outsider might be Owen if Cisse lives up to expectations.

i dont really agrre with that. of course some players can play well in different positions. but players like biscan arent signed on the premise that he should play well in another position. the same would go for djibbril cisse. if he started playing centre mid and was w***, would you say that then?

biscan was signed as a centre mid and should have a chance there, same as diao, same as all the rest.

I voted Murphy as I reckon he may get the nod on the right and with a good run in the team he could be really good again....saying that I HOPE Kewell is the most improved, if he does what he used to at Leeds and for us inflashes last year then the pressure comes off Owen and Cisse and the whole team benfits. We'll see
