Le Tallec was a talentless, petulant, overhyped waste of time, money and effort.

:censored: hair too.

How he is still on our books is absolutely beyond me.

ping pong was the best of the two , but rafa says no so   see ya!!

it was a real coup at the time as france were on a high and these two were the mutts nuts in youth football

i do wonder why some players just can't make the step up or can't deal with the pressure of fame , they must have been the best players since they were kids and then get to 20 and nowt

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Chaps, just joined to ask your opinions on Le Tallec given he might be signing for us (Hearts).

Clearly the guy hasn't been good enough for the EPL but surely he must be good enough for up here?

Or is he going to follow our usual pattern of signing players that are utterly gash?

he would do a job up here in the spl, but romanov will probably insist he plays in goal.

yeah i remember we were all waiting for these two lads to turn up at anfield like the arrival of two messiah`s.
we hadnt quite cottoned on to the new zidane - new platini stuff at that time, in fact au contraire, we believed it!
i remember when we they finally arrived the side they had been playing for in france, le harve, actually dropped a division.
once i heard that i didnt have much hope, if these two lads were that good surely they`d keep a side in a division?
pongolle had his moments like the luton game and the olympiacos game but neither lived up to the houllier hype.
