Der, I was there as well  :O , but Im sure we haven't scored in the league?

You are right Effes none of our players have scored against the mancs in the league since Rafa came. John O'SHEA did however score one for us mate, when we lost 2-1  :D

I have a feeling Kewell will score. If anyone remembers the world cup the first couple of games in Kewell had some great chances and barely missed then in the biggest game of the WC to get us through against Croatia he caem up with a crucial goal and played his :censored: off. I'm looking for him to do the same to the Mancs.

:D  Yes, in 2004 away (2-1 defeat). Score - to obtain a point or goal etc.

well, runs always end. they never go on forever. i think we'll give them a good game... and may surprise people, win it and maybe, just maybe someone somewhere will actually admit that we play some pretty attractive football. fecking media.

3-0 to us... torres, risse and hypia

Good man Dawson thats more like it, we can take these on Sunday make no mistake about it. It will be tight but we are at home and apart from the Reading match are on a good run and scoring lots of goals. Kewell will start and I can see him going with Kuyt upfront again alongside Torres with Babel and Crouch on the bench. Vorinon can have the day off and watch the eastenders omnibus.

We need Gerrard on top form and if he can get forward and not have to sit so deep in the midfield then we should win

League, FA cup...they are the same. (ie..crouch scored the winner against them).

We have beaten them 2 season ago in the FA cup with a weaker team. There is no reason why we can't beat them now...with a better team.

Any 4-3-3 nonsense though, with Voronin wide left, or a 4-5-1 with a withdrawn Gerrard playing behind a christmas tree with its' focal point of Torres, it's left and right struts fromed by a fulcrum of Babel crossing with Lucas, whichever one is closest to the touchline in a kind of withdrawn etc etc would be a disaster.

You forgot to add in "crouch as a left attacker" ....  :p

I am really looking forward to this game. I really hope it is a great game with Liverpool coming out on top.

I live on the westcoast of Canada so I will be up at 5:30 AM in the morning awaiting the kickoff with my extra strong coffee ;)

Okay had to find out myself.  Here the article from lfc.tv.

Liverpool have been boosted by news Xabi Alonso could return from his metatarsal injury to face Man Utd this weekend.
However, Rafa Benitez has fresh injury worries after Steve Finnan emerged as a doubt.

A knock which kept the Ireland international out of the Marseille game could prevent him playing this weekend.

Benitez told Liverpoolfc.tv: "Alonso was training today and hopefully he will be okay for the weekend. He might have problems because he hasn't trained with the group for a long time, but physically he will be fit.

"Finnan is injured – will have to check on him to see if he can play at the weekend.

"Agger will need a little bit more time."

Good news that Xabi is training and could play.  But is Agger ever coming back?

just had a heart attack. was looking to see who the ref was for this game and misread "m.riley". it turns out that riley is actually the 4th official. mark halsey is the referee.

bench for me at best. don't throw him back in, especially after what happened when we risked him against arsenal.

With Cohesion, rythm, and not rotating: 3-0

With rotation: 2-0

A win, I'm certain.
