I'd be very happy i must say, still worried that our performances would cost us though

Let's just hope we can manage to score a goal against Man Utd first before thinking about winning.:p

I don't hold out much hope without Gerrard or Torres - it seems to be a case of no Torres and Gerrard, no goals.  Like somebody else said, it's difficult to see where the goals will come from, if those two are missing.

i would be delighted i mean its manure but then the thing that has gotten me worried is our performances against clubs who shouldnt be giving us much problems.

and our style of play is appaling to watch. and this type of performances wont bring us far. soon luck will run out.

the only way we're able
to stay so stable
is cause luck's the legs to our table
if it were to break we'll fall on our face.

ok i tried to rhyme  :D

The last few matches against the mancs we have been playing well but losing maybe this time we will play poor and sneak a win.. I remember though under GH we beat the mancs a few times. loved those times. Been a while since we have beaten them in the league. So sad :(

Given Liverpool's current form and recent record against Man Utd, a 0-0 would be a victory:)

However, I am expecting the first loss of the season here. I have to be honest.

Ohhhh, we're going to get battered. Rafa's sh*t and needs shooting. Ohhhhhhh, Man U are SOOOOOOO much better than us, and Ferguson is the best manager in the history of anything anywhere.

Ohhhhhhh, we've got no chance. Ohhhhhhh, Ohhhhhhh, Ohhhhhhhh.

Any win will do - don't really care much who scores the goal for us. It is OUR time to play bad and get that lucky goal :D

this is the perfect game for kuyt. now hear me out, then shout me down no doubt.

Kuyt isnt the most talented player weve got (no shock there)
but if they have someone, anyone who is bossing a game and we need to stick a pitbull on there a$$, kuyt is the man. he is made for man marking in my opinion, chasing back, causing a ruckass. this is something he cant do against the smaller teams so his faults are noticed a lot more. get kuyt on, stick him on the danger, and let the rest of the players worry about winning the game. thats what i think anyways

I have a feeling that we'll win this game, but I also felt the same way the last two times.

feck 0-0 (we at home ffs) i agree with ozwat if we want to be serious contenders we must win this game!
imo forget about playing decent football, it"s the result that counts. if that means we win by ugly football
so be it. this is about 3 points nothing else, i know it"s early on in the season but this for me is where we
cannot rely on other teams to get results to help us it"s in our own hands, we have to win our home games
to have a realistic chance, COME ON RED MEN
