We've created a lot of chances as well. The only thing is we've lacked clinical finishing. People wouldn't be complaining about our playing style if we were able to take our chances better. I do think that our team still needs a bit improvement, but some people are just overcritical.

1: Our corners - I don't know the stats but I'm pretty sure we have more corners than anyone, and score from less

2: Pushing on - Once in a lead (not just the Citeh game) we tend to sit back, almost get flustered.

3: Wide players - We only seem to play them with the crosses when Carool doesn't play. And when Carroll does play, we don't seem to cross as much

4: Midfielders - They just aren't supporting the strikers enough. Its emabressing. We should be scoring for fun

5: Transfer policy - How are players like Downing and Carroll so bad for us? They aren't the best but they are not being utilised.

There is so much wrong at the moment, and its mostly at board level, but on the pitch it just isn't happening. For months now I've been saying we'll absolutely spank a team soon, but the way we play at the moment that will never happen

1.non issue (we have very few good in the air so pointless complaining)

2.Its not that we choose to sit back. When teams go behind they then step up a gear. Man City are superior to us so when they did they pushed us back. We did brilliantly to contain them.

3.non issue. (no top side swings in crosses)

4."scoring for fun"... who? Besides Gerrard (who has barely played) what miidfielder should be "scoring for fun"? Spearing? Shelvey? Adam? Henderson? Downing? You're overrating us.

5.The emphasis on signing british was an error, especially attacking players where there are so few of real quality (take a look at the England squad bar Rooney). These are the same level players who get played off the park in major tournaments when they meet a top 8 nation. The reasoning behind the Carroll one will never be answered. Its bizarre on every level.

.The emphasis on signing british was an error

The nationalty of players signed in the last 12 months is a balanced mix - which you require for the Home grown rules

Wish people would stop ignoring the facts and keep stating we only sign british

Suarez
Coates
Enrique
Doni

Thats 4 in 12 months with another reported to be on the way

They are having a one off season where players find form all at the same time - a couple of bad results with a few players dropping out of form they go tumbling down the table .

City showed how much money it took to go from 7th to the top 4 in such a short period of time - Spurs showed how long it can take without big money. Newcastle have done nothing.

So whats our benchmark considering the last few seasons, money spent etc etc?

you'd be happy with 6th?

Considering the last two seasons and players leaving and arriving and the turmoil we should be around the 5th/6th area .

But we can get higher if we take advantage of other teams faltering like they have done this season.

I am never happy with anything below 1st Dawson but sometimes you have to be realistic and paitent and let the team build over time.

You want a new 5 year plan? These 5 year plans are taking decades, plural. We aint moving and we are spending. Other teams are flying past us and we are moving backwards

Who said anything about a 5 year plan ?

I want the current manager to be given the time to build - not just 12-18 months and then shipped out.

Teams flying past us ?

I'd love to see the world through your eyes. You really think we are progressing as a team, it's brilliant. I sincerely hope you're right, but last year we were gash, and we didn't make Europe, this season we are worse.

Worse ? We are 5 points away from a CL spot - this time last year we were 15 !!

I think we are just 3 quality players away from being a good team. We have the backbone of a decent team and we are missing Lucas. All we need is some players that can start performing now as oppose to in 4 years time.

You still need to answer the follow questions after demanding Kenny will be sacked if we dont get 4th

So if we don't get Top 4 you want Kenny gone and a new manager ?

First question who ?

Second Question - How long will new manager get ? 12 months ? 18 Months ?

Do you actually realise how hard it is to break back into the Top 4 ?

Do you people every rumour in the paper ?!

our football have been wonderful at times, the problem in some of our games that we couldn't find the back of the net! Bar the Tottenham, Wigan and Stoke game we never looked like a team that was being outplayed. Even when we lost against Man City 3-0, we did play some good football and the result flattered Man City

i'd discuss my choices if/when it happens.

Managers should be given time on merit of progress, both on and off the field. So far this season Kenny hasn't done much of either.

Instead, he's gone down in history as being the only manager to waste the best part of 100 million of cr@p in one summer....authorised the team (and himself) to wear Suarez t-shirts in front of the world after the player was accussed of racism....and named 8 defenders in a team against Stoke AT HOME.

Then there's the fact Kenny seems unable to change his game plan and the fact he's chasing Darren Bent for 20+ million.

and people wonder why some of us are depressed?
