in regards to the T-shirt thing...we should have done NOTHING...SAID NOTHING...played it all out behind closed doors. Instead we made complete tw@ts of ourselves and portrayed our club in the worst possible light.

and why benny bangs on about City, i've no idea.  We're NOT CITY...and if you waste 100 million on sh!te it hurts us badly because we've not got the funds to speed that money again.  That's why we're struggling this season and that's why we are persisting with the likes of Carroll, Henderon and Downing.

The city remarks are relevant to planktons like you who think because we spend a close to 100 million in 12 months ( selling players worth around 70 mil ) we should be in the top 4 . City spent 250 million and got 5th spot - they spent another 250 million to get into 3rd. Thats how it is relevant.

TBF If you look at Chelsea in the early Abramovich days or City they made significant strides once they started spending. Maybe not top 4 but come on we should be at least not still relying on 2 fecking players to score goals for us should we? People were saying 2 years ago we are a 2 man team: Torres and Gerrard and now it's just Suarez and Gerrard. What have we got to show for our spending this summer?

Plenty of people have stated we play good football - i can think of two games when we didnt ( Spurs and Stoke ) the rest of the games we created enough chances to win the game BUT we didnt take the chances - so i will say it again ( for the 3rd time ) we are playing well just not being clinical enough . Do that and thinks change massively.

Its easy to say that in hindsight (true we should have kept our heads down and let Luis and Luis alone make a statement). However at the time most of us backed Kenny with the t shirts. The little englander media twisted it bigtime. We should learn from this and never give these cretins anything to misrepresent us.

I really can't see us spending 60mil in the Jan window. I think we will maybe bring in that Textile fella for a mil or under, probably someone else and then wait till the summer. Henry probably wants to see where we end up before letting us spend big amounts again in case he wants to change things up in the summer.

Managers should be given time on merit of progress, both on and off the field. So far this season Kenny hasn't done much of either.

You said Kenny should be sacked is we didnt get 4th - LFC2007 said what if we get 5th just missing out on 4th by a point and also win a cup and you said he should still be sacked if he doesnt get 4th - so your talking on progress - you demanded 4th . Getting 5th and a cup is progress.

City ( yes City ) were the latest team to break into the top 4 - guess how much it cost them ? 500 million - and you demand it and expect on what we have spent ?? Massively unrealistic expectations there .

ah, the old Net outlay b0ll0cks argument....so it's ok to waste money because we got lots in?  what utter [email]cr@p...nothing[/email] justifies the outlay on rubbish we've done, nothing but players turning in good performances.  And i expect a damn sight more than a fraction of what we've seen.

As i said...18 months and 100+ million should be enough to get a team like ours into the top 4. Why?  Because we already have some world class players (reina, Gerrard) and we also had a good defence...which you seem to credit kenny for building

The owners have already stated its not essential to get into the CL . Unless we suddenly start dropping down the table , Kenny will be given time .

We are challenging for a CL place , one game away from a Wemberlee final and people are moaning like bitches - only a year ago we were mid/bottom half of table getting beat by everyone and 15-20 points away from a CL place.

People need to get a grip on reality .
