I can't stomach anymore of that *****. He stands and applauds if we connect 3 passes. Its not good enough, ive never seen us play consistently well for longer than 10 minutes in any game - someone ring rafa ffs at the least he made us hard to beat

Very poor performance today and all the pigeons came home to roost: Sh'it in attack, sh'it in midfield and sh'it in defense.
I will give B-Rods till Christmas and then, if no clear progress has been made, I will become a moaning tw@t like those on here and call for his head.

Nope, he has to go now. No point in waiting till Christmas as it will limit LFC in bringing in someone good enough. Mid season, top managers will have jobs. Klopp is available, get him in now.

He doesn't make it easy for himself....why keep to the same (failing) formation???  Why put Stirling up front when he's no better than Aspas or Borini as a striker?

Wingers as full backs, central midfielders as defenders and an aging attacking midfielder as a defensive holding player....it isn't working Brendan, why not try something else?  You formation has failed for the past month and yet you carry on, like a World War One general with the same failing methods.

If the rumours of us bringing in Milner and Ings is true, then we're fecked. We need at least one world class player, and neither of those squad fillers will do anything to push us into the top 4.

The team were outstanding but the ball was awfully round, and the grass is a bit longer than it was yesterday which didn't compliment our game. Then there was the occasion. Oh the occasion! I think it got to the lads and they perhaps wanted it that wee bit too much. The board, bad vibes coming from there, dripping down into the dressing room, affecting the players etc et-fookin-c...

Agree 100% about Ings and Milner, those players may come here and do a good job (though I doubt it) but the fact we are out there looking for bargains rather than quality players is not a good sign at all.

You can bet your bottom dollar we will try for Bolasie this summer as he has torn us a new one on a few occasions. Is he good or consistent enough to play at the level we want to be at? Got my doubts

For the team to roll over like that on Stevie's big day is heartbreaking.

Whatever must the former players sitting in the stands be thinking?  What is their assessment of Rodgers? How do we move forward from here?

I don't see us progressing under BR and I think it is probably better for all parties involved if a change is made this summer. Yesterday was painful and the players need a manager with pedigree, a winner who won't tolerate second best.

Unfortunately BR isn't that man at the moment. Last season was magnificent however it is has become clear we were punching above our weight with a world class striker up top with the rest of the team setup functionally to get the best out of him. Without him, we are a very ordinary team and the majority of the other players shown up as being cogs in a machine and unable to step with the main man gone.

I worry for the future and think the four teams above us could motor ahead even further ahead of us next season.

Agree Reg, it's an absolute disgrace, 1-3 at home to the mighty palace on such an occasion, if BR can't lift the players and pick a team and tactics to beat a bottom of the table team on such a day as SG's last home game then I cannot see any point of him continuing as our manager.

Regardless of whatever tactics Rodgers wanted why didn't the players go out and win 10-0 for Stevie?

That's what I don't get, WTF is wrong with our players? They let Stevie down yesterday as much as BR did.

Wouldn't Carra, Alonso, Masher, Torres, Finnan, Ginger, Yossi, Dirk etc.. have broken a leg each yesterday to win???

Wouldn't Pepe have run the length of the field to force the ball into the net? Imagine the party afterwards!   .... and yet...??

WTF guys, WTF?
