Walk on Carra

Legend is a description which is bestowed about far too quickly in modern age however in Jamie' s case it doesn't in close to describing him in a red shirt

Carra is a fantastic example of how a professional footballer should behave. Thanks for the all the brilliant memories.Schevchenko is mentally scarred for life. You will be sadly missed. Hopefully the club as well as Sky will utilise your skill and knowledge and who knows you might just do a Scholes !!

The value of Carra was how he battled on past the Rafa era and through the H&G ownership debacle. Those yanks not only ripped the club apart but could have ripped the team apart but for the likes of Carra, StevieG and Reina who remained committed to the shirt.

Thanks Carra the epitome of YNWA, and long live the next youngster inspired to follow his dream of playing for the Reds.

he'll be back, either as a coach or in some other role at liverpool after he's settled into his media career.

absolute legend. if that shot had gone in yesterday it would have been one of the greatest things i've witnessed in football. the roof would have come off.

Top Class Gent and Professional. He will be truly missed by all the fans. As Reg mentioned, he definitely battled on (along with other team mates) in those horrible years, and we are truly grateful for that. Without the like of JC et al, we'd have been in the bottom half of the EPL table...

Good luck Jamie in your new career, but we all know that you'll be back soon enough.

YNWA.

Would have been a nice send off for JC to score that anyway legend of the game.

A dying breed. I hope JC & Gerrard are not the last of their kind! loyal to one club not matter which clubs come calling.

I don't have the same expectations from the twitter generation.
