well, the draw will be held on Monday, 30th Jan at Soho Square at 1.30 p.m.

games will be played on Saturday, Jan 18th...

here are the 16 teams ...

1 Stoke City
2 Newcastle United
3 Coventry City or Middlesbrough
4 Reading or Birmingham City
5 Liverpool   :buttrock
6 Southampton
7 Bolton Wanderers
8 Aston Villa
9 Brentford
10 Manchester City
11 Everton or Chelsea
12 Preston North End or Crystal Palace
13 West Ham United
14 Colchester United
15 Charlton Athletic
16 Manchester United


How 'bout playing Preston north end at Anfield ?  ???

I have a feeling we'll draw Charlton.  I'd love to knock out fking neverton.  Or maybe have Crouch get a hat trick against his old team. :)

i'd be extremely confident about beating the sh*te at anfield. in fact i'd be extremely confident about beating ANYONE at anfield except maybe chelsea

im so happy pass, that fowler is a liverpool player..i forgot he played in the cup for the best team in manchester   :)

i,m sure robbie scored 5 might even had been 6 against stoke in the 90,s..........9 nil if  i remember right.

the only stoke game i can remember was away during the houllier reign in the treble season i think and we won 8-0 but the scoreboard said 9-0 (they lost count) fowler definately got at least 3 in that game, i think it was 5 though phil.
