I think Rafa's way of going about his business is a credit to our club.
He pursues his signings quietly, instead of bleating to the press about targets and trying to unsettle them at whatever club they're at. He refuses to get into bidding wars with other clubs... ultimately it is the player who decides what club they will go to, and if they don't prefer Liverpool to whatever other club comes knocking then they're quite obviously demented. This means we ship in players who are committed to the club, and we don't pay over the odds for them.
Rafa's methods, of both managing the club and conducting transfer business, are gaining him a lot of respect in the footballing world. Take a look at Mourinho's pantomime post-match interviews, and Newcastle's "Pay through the nose and the fans will be happy" transfer policy, and it's not difficult to see why.
