Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Yeah id expect to see him in the Carling cup at least and maybe the odd league game too. Also I think he has even played a few CL games so the potential is there. Hopefully under Carras tutelage he can be blooded into the first team.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

That's a few pieces of good news in as many days. I should get my bird to p!ss off more often :D
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

How about we wait until one, two or all three are first team regulars/stars of the team before thanking anyone. Sure we may well make a profit, but the name of the game is signing footballers and winning trophies and these three may be some way off contributing to that - if they ever do

He could be mate yes. I doubt that he will be (I think Hansen was the best centre half I've ever seen, bar none) but he could be.

In truth this kid even if he is good won't or shouldn't be seen for a couple of seasons. Kids at centre half don't work really, they're not hard enough or ugly enough. Let him bust his nose up a few times in the reserves, fracture his cheekbone and cut his face up a bit. Then, in a couple of years when he's filled out and can put himself about a bit, lets have a look at him then.

I work with loads of huns and they say this kid has real potential. But, its only that. Are we gonna use  him this season. Then, if not why not loan him  back to rangers. He'll get CL experience and more first team playing time.

Dalglish picked him out. so, with kenny and roy do we have our new Jockey?

I think Hodgson will use him if need be. I don't think Hodgson is the type of manager to hold a player back, if he thinks they're good enough you'll see the player play.
Football is a relatively simple game and Roy knows it ;)

i hope so. for a while i've thought we have needed more british players in the team. It gives us identity. We can relate to them more as fans.
The mercenary's :censored: me off royally. For how good Masch is as a player. His personality off it, annoys me. I love the lil runt on the pitch. But something nags at me

And there's Man City paying £30 Mill for 19 year old Balotelli  :D

Its really not that much money considering he is such a talent. Chris Smalling is gonna cost the mancs £10 Mill and from what ive seen of him he didnt look too great.

depends on how good the 18year old is. I could give you ten 18year olds worth more than £2m. so no, its not too much if he's as good as the hype says he is (I can't comment cause I'vew never seen him play)

Considering that we bought Shelvey for less than 2 mil, those money that we're giving for Wilson seem too much.2 mil seem OK, but if we give the full sum of 5 mil will be too much for a kid that most of us have barely heard about.City and Baloteli are a different story.
