Great!! Another one?

Feel so disappointed for both. Their exclusion shouldn't have too much of an impact to the squad.

We have to ask

When did he get this injury ??????????????????

In training with Kloppo ??????????????????????

If so maybe it might be an idea to throttle back a bit on the heavy metal training and allow the squad to more gradually get up to speed.

I know injuries can happen at any time, even in warm ups ! , but the lads are probabaly busting a gut right now to impress and are maybe pushing themselves a stride to far.

Gutted that Ings is out, as others have said , I too was convinced he'd blossom under Kloppo   :(

Sad news, but as you say both are finge players and it shouldn't impact the first team too much. However, as a few have said, it's a shame to see Ings out for so long, because his high work rate would have no doubt blossomed under Klopp.

Sorry lads I really can't dismiss the loss of these two players quite so easily. For years we have lacked strength in depth and Gomez and Ings are two players that help to provide just that. Danny Sturridge is injury prone and Benteke is currently out! Ins and Gomez would have both played in the early rounds of all the cup competitions. Their loss I'm afraid is greater than simply regarding them as fringe players.

They spend a week over medicals and have sports scientists, dieticians, and yet players get injured more than ever.

Im old fashioned perhaps but they are too finely tuned and the smallest thing tweaks something, not robust enough.

With Ings out this gives Origi a chance now to impress JK. Im sure we will see him feature in out upcoming fixtures.

Shattered for the lad. I read this isn't a total rupture, just a slight tear. 6months is the best case scenario, where as Gomez has to go through the entire painful rehab.

Such a shame, Ings was starting to shine for us. I really enjoyed watching him play after I didn't want him at all.

First Gomez now Ings! Terrible news, both for the lads and the club. Ings was just starting to look like he might be a great signing and this happens  would have loved it to see how Klopp would have used him, Ings is definitely a Klopp player.

Bad injury as well. Some players never fully recover from the cruciate.

The only saving grace is that this is not a complete rupture, so the rehab will be less intense.

That's a disaster, I'm totally gutted for Ings, Klopp... everyone.... the timing couldn't be worse. Don't take any risks Danny Sturridge.

Call back Balotelli... is this his golden moment under Klopp?

Congratulations to Danny Ings, who has today collected ‪#‎LFC‬'s Standard Chartered Player of the Month award for September - and with it, delivered this message to fans http://lfc.tv/Au8r.

Dannys got a strong muscular build. I think he will become a very good striker. Shame about his injury.
