ok, he's not giving good vibes of being a team player, but when he does play, he scores goals.  IF we get offered 10+ million he goes.......if we don't he stays.

I'd settle for  7 million because nobody in their right mind would pay 10 million for Cisse.

Just goes to show you how bad G Houllier's judgement of player potential was just before he left the club.
There was Diao, Diouf, Le Tallec, Cheyrou and finally Cisse.

Houllier liked to think he could spot raw talent and nurture it. Cisse has speed. Thats about it. He has no vision, no flair and he has the anticipation of a snail. Add to that a blind conceited arrogance.

It is such a pitty that he does not live up to what all Lpool supporters hoped he would be.
Because in fairness to him, to recover so quickly  from the horrific injury which almost lost him his leg, proves that at least he is a fantastic athlete who seems to be focused.

Its just a pitty his football brain is lacking for the level required to be a great Lpool player.

In hindsight, in which everyone is a genius :D , Lpool should never have signed Cisse, once Houllier got the boot.

ok, cisse is a world class striker, hes prooved thate verywhere.
benitez doesnt think so and benitez is a world class manager and has prooved that everywhere.

should we sell him? i think no.
will we sell him? i think yes.

theres something going on bewteen beni and cisse that we dont know about and im gutted coz have been a cisse fan for a few years but we have to keep him til he shiones in the world cup. if we HAVE to sell him, it has to be for alot of money.
We cant do another baros, keep him fter a top euro 2004 then sell him to villa. if wed sold straight away we would have got double.

i still like cisse to and hope he stays but thats just me. maybe its medical, i dunno

i'm happy to keep Cisse and Rafa won't sell him for 7 million.  Why?  Because he don't have to.  sorry to keep banging on about the same thing, but we don't HAVE to sell cisse to buy other players.....so unless we get a BIG offer for him, he'll be here until the summer.  Then, he might have a good world cup and we might have some interesting offers come in.  Until then, i'm happy to have him as a squad player.

Definitely.
Cisse has to do exactly what Rafa says or he's out.
But, can't see him going unless we have someone lined up (stating the obvious)

I'm not a Cisse Fan. His attitude stinks.
When subbed against Man Sh*tty, he looked as if to say..." how dare you sub me off!

Its bad news. i think Rafa will sell him, and the return of Michael Owen will succeed that. probably by next summer.

If Souness gets the boot, which is likley, then that doesnt give Owen confidence seeing as he signed him!

What a b#llocks statement. You've lost all credentials you had prior to this statement.

Cisse a world class striker that has
-no accuracy
-poor first touch
-lack of positioning [had the record for most offsides in CL last season]
-lack of intelligence on the ball
-can't hold up the ball to play well enough in our system
-doesn't work hard for the team.

Cisse is not World Class. Adriano,Shevchenko,Eto'o,Henry,Ibrahimovic,etc.. are world class strikers.

Ibrahimovic? pah.
Baros? pah.
Toto Schilacci? (1990) pah.

There are always players who get some hype due to a decent national squad performance in a big tournament, and then, well, in they daily bread and butter they are not that good.

I think recently his coach made him watching Van Basten videos to Ibrahimovic. Proper move by the coach, perhaps that way he'll learn something about a true world class

Have you seen him play? I've seen him play for Juventus and for Sweden and he's been fantastic.

Good first touch, has the power, intelligence, good link up play. Very very good player.
