He doesn't show that good attitude on the pitch

He has shown he's desperate to play, score goals, do well for the club. Trouble is his lack of workrate does him no favours with Rafa.

The hell he has, sulking all the time doesn't show that. Nor does shaking your head at the manager when you're substituted.

Coming back so soon after breaking his leg says enough about Cisse's attitude.

That was great, however he needs to show the same on the pitch. Because thats what he's payed for.

while i wouldnt condone him showing of all that bad attitude in public or being disrespectfull to his teammates, i can understand him being frustrated at the lack of games he is getting despite scoring more goals than the other 2 strikers combined.
I feel if he has the same run in the team that Crouch has upfront, and the same level of support and confidence from Rafa then he could probabley become a better team player than what he is now. At the moment his confidence is at all time low and its reflected in his performances on the pitch.
Selling him would be a mistake we couldnt afford.

However when he has played [he's had a decent run of games] he has not produced the goods. He simply does not what is required, which is work hard for the team and score goals at the same time. Morientes and Crouch were all low on confidence at one point at time, but they didn't sulk at their team-mates or at the manager. They kept going. If anything, Cisse should look at how Crouch dealt with critics. He kept on going and going.

Theres absolutely no execuse for Cisse's behavior on the pitch.

He can't even strike the ball well, a good striker kicks the ball right at the bottom left/right corner of the goal. Many times he misses the goal by a mile!  Not good enough for a high paid striker

No matter how bad he is and how he is "not trying enough", we should only sell him at the end of the season or at the very leas until we get replacement because we do have a very long season ahead of us with so many added fixtures and not helped by the CL qualification and the ludicrous half-way around the workd trip to play in Sepp Blatter's insigficant tournament.

what GH see in cisse that we dont..why he rated him? he will be GH cheif striker if GH still manage liverpool.

we should get rid of him as soon as possible and get a better replacement, there are hundred player more skillful and better than him. Rafa don rated cisse not because he don score every match but he's not good enough to play for rafa's liverpool.

I reckon we should get a striker in Jan who fits the bill Rafa is totting up. As long as they haven't played in the Champions League, we'd be better off.
Infact - get a player from a different continent, then it doesn't matter about the stupid, outdated f*cking cup-tied rule.

BTW - What is the point in cup-tying a player? Seriously?

The only reason I can think of goes thus:

1.) To annoy LFC.

We won't be selling him in the January, we just have too many games and we will need him. If anything, he will be sold in the summer and only in the summer

cisse rules out leaving liverpool
(from bbc sport)

Cisse rules out leaving Liverpool

Djibril Cisse career statistics
French striker Djibril Cisse insists he is not interested in leaving Liverpool.
The 24-year-old is not a regular in Rafael Benitez's starting XI and reacted angrily when he was replaced against Manchester City in November.

He has been linked with a move to Marseille but he told Liverpool's website: "I love Liverpool.

"I have great friends and great team-mates and I've bought a great house. I just got married, so why would I want to leave?"

He added: "The mentality in the dressing room is different to France. It's just friendly and happy. They all make jokes and make each other laugh."

Cisse has scored 11 goals for Liverpool this season, but just two of those have come in the Premiership, with Fernando Morientes and Peter Crouch emerging as Benitez's favoured front two.

now i perasnoally think Cisse played well yesterday and he deserves a run in the team. he can stay unselfish hes an addition any team would benefit from

Tbh i thought he showed real signs of improvement in yesterdays game. His link up play and teamwork was much improved. I think he is trying to work hard on his overall game now as he knows that he is basically on his last chance. I'm gonna say we should keep him at least until the summer to see if he can build on the way he played yesterday and if it was the start of a change in his normally selfish attitude on the pitch.

You got that right. He is improving. I think he is fighting for his career. He doesn't wanna leave, and he is willing to change his ways and become more of a team player. That is encouraging. If it is enough, remains to be seen.

It would be great if you are both right cos he obviously loves the club, city and the fans.
He was one of our better players yesterday imo, but the other side did stand off us when we were in posession.

Credit where its due though, he produced imo a far better all round performance than i have seen ever before from him, and i hope he is starting to get the basics right.
