The kindest thing Klopp could do is relieve the lad of his burden , maybe if someone else shoulders the load , the shackles will be off. Lucas should have been made Captain as soon as Gerrard left ,if any player in that team deserves it more than Lucas then they're doing a remarkable job hiding their claim

I agree Lucas is probably the best candidate from the bunch we have.

Just do it on a game by game basis and rotate it until everyones had a go. Then pick the best one at the end?

Some stories going around that JK will be changing the club captain in the coming days, Dejan Lovren is the name being banded about, anybody have any thoughts on this ?

Maybe giving it to one of the centre halves isn't a bad shout. Might throw a bit of backbone their way, lord knows they need it

ANYONE would be an improvement over Henderson.

The question highlights one of our biggest problems, a lack of leadership.

I guess Lovren is the best choice from a pool of poor candidates, after him there's no one that carries any real authority

I still expect Can to captain the club one day. As long as we can hold onto him. He's too young right now, but I could see him being ready within a few years.

A lot of players use the phrase "I would run through a brick wall for the club", I honestly believe Sakho would try it
