I lay all the blame at the owners feet. They chose not to spend any decent money this summer and asked for the wage bill to be trimmed. Well I wonder what their plan will be should we end up finishing up in the bottom half.

Yes, we were unfortunate, but I am confident that we can pick up the pace. 4 points from our last 2 games is not something to scoff at imo. We'll be alright, we always are.

If we were sh'it I might agree. But were not so I dont.
We dont need a miracle yet, we need the rub of the green and for players to have belief and composure.
The last thing we need is for supporters to get o the managers and the players back
Keep calm and carry on
i agree with you in total but at what point do you thing we should start to worry, in my view its if we are near the bottom lot at xmas. for me we should be in 10th and a good 8 point cap or more from them at the bottom?
edir: what should add is that some of our play is the best i have seen in the prem this year.

its not just one game we are talikng about mate, we are looking at all the games we have had, we look a much better team than the results show but that dont put points on the board, it might be a case that we need to change the way we play a bit to start to turn our performances into points.

We've faced three of the top four in our opening 7 matches. We were unlucky not to beat both Manchester clubs. We have played solid teams in Sunderland and Stoke and got a point in both matches. We've got 4 points from a possible 6 in our last two games. If we keep that up and start keeping clean sheets in matches, we'll start climbing up the table. I'm as frustrated as anybody about our sluggish start to the season, but we have to get some perspective here. We're in the doldrums at the moment, but I have seen enough from this squad and the manager to believe that we are heading in the right direction. It's far too early to be hitting the panic button, we're 7 games into the league season.

If we had this form after playing these teams over christmas we would probably be a lot happier than we are now
The timing only adds to the fear, especially when others, like the bitters have got off to a flyer.
It will click, Im sure of that

I'm happy with things as they are now in terms of performance. The points tally is disappointing, but there's still 31 matches left to play in the league. Everton have gotten off to a flyer, but it will take some doing and I feel they were fortunate to get a point at Wigan. Wigan who have been one of the worst teams in the league this season having their worst start to a Premier League campaign nearly beat them. So who knows what will happen at the end of the season? We finished 8th last season, so if we finish 7th or 6th this season then that's progression and I will be satisfied with that.
People like Lakes and Hustler are jumping the gun at the moment.

I agree, but I remember when we lost 2-0 to Stoke last season. Stoke are not an easy team to beat, Chelsea's millionaire footballers struggled against them. We've got 4 points from a possible 6 in the last two matches. Who is to say that won't become 7 from 9, and then 10 from 12? Patience is required here.
