F'uck all the talk about the owners and lets stop looking for excuses for the new manager.
I'm a long way from being impressed with his performance so far , many have commented on his straight talking style, SFW ? talk is cheap, it's performance and results that us as fans should be concerned with.
Performance wise under Rodgers we've looked a lot tidier and ball retention has been better, a cause for celebration ?

. All well and good having the ball BUT it's what you do with it that actually counts and so far with the ball we've done fk all. At Anfield against Hearts, a team that would struggle in the English second tier, we had 70% of the possession and yet managed only four shots on target
Against Man City at home we managed to get 49% of possession and just 3 shots on target, ok they are the current champs so some may be happy with a point but I believe that was gained from the players raising their game rather than any PLAN the new manager had.
We finally arrive at the end of the transfer window and Rodgers through his dismal transfer activity has thinned out the squad almost to the point where there will come a time in the rest of the season when we will struggle to even field eleven players that could be described as senior.
And before any of you start, don't f'ucking talk to me about Rodgers lack of funds. If you don't have the money to buy in new blood, as manager yer put yer foot down and refuse to release the likes of Bellamy, Kuyt and Carrol even if they don't fit your "plan"
Honeymoon's over Mr Rodgers I want points on the board and not platitudes.
agreed woof.
so many are getting their excuses ready and it will only get worse if things start to go bad.
as the manager it was rodgers who is tasked with getting the squad he wants in time for the season and its him that has left us thin.he has already spent close on 30mil for borini, allen, assaidi and the young german striker.thats not including what it cost to release him and his entire backroom staff from swansea not forgetting what we paid out on the termination of kenny and his.that lot probably brings us over the 40mil mark this summer.
i have no problem with his signings and think they will be good here but i cannot bring myself to understand why he got rid of carroll and didnt replace him.the fact that it was dempsey only makes it worse as we were linked with him for so long and despite him declaring on transfer day that he wanted to come here we still managed to fook it up.what makes it worse is that we got 1mil for loaning carroll,4 for adam, undisclosed for eccleston and with the rest of the cull lowered the wage bill by a further couple of hundred grand a week and yet we think we can bid 3 mil less than the accepted bid and still sign the player.
he is fenways man who claims to have full control over matters so i dont believe they would risk their relationship with him over the extra 2 mil we needed to sign him.he obviously thought sturridge was a cert and tried a cheeky bid to fulham but alls he's got is egg on his face and a bigger task ahead.
