I absolutely love the fact that we're the underdogs once again. I love the fact that Mancs and the Bitters are running their mouths because there is nothing better than shutting them up.

I would love it if we could win it again because it would prove to people all around the world that 05 wasn't a fluke.

I f#cking can't wait for this one.

My sentiments exactly.

Well said, as far as I can tell, Being favourites has been a burden more than a help when it comes to football. The more favourite you are, the more easily you expect to win. But then it's min 60 in the game, the game is 0-0, complicated and then your favouritism is a burden, not a help.

THey wanna be favourites? let them be. Our laughs will be heard louder if we go through.

Bring on your mighty Barcelona,
bring on the Spaniards by the score.

because Liverpool are the team that we adore.

no disrespect intended Barca fans, it's only a song. We have to believe it's possible to we can beat you even though you may think it's impossible.

its gonna be very hard to beat em at camp nou, and even harder to keep a clean sheet. But i think we can restrict them to one goal and if we do, once they come to anfield we all know that ANYTHING is possible, they will not have seen an atmosphere like it anywhere in the world...

and so i would speculate (at this very early stage in the day) 3-1 to the reds. It would be sooo sweet to beat em! even writing about it here is getting the nerves jangling! I think my work collegues are on the verge of calling an ambulance.

messi's talking some :censored:

Barcelona winger Lionel Messi reckons Liverpool will be scared stiff going into their Champions League clash with the Spanish champions.
The 19-year-old, who is targeting the fixtures for his return from injury, believes his side are firm favourites to progress into the quarter-finals.

"Any rivals are dangerous in Europe at this time but Liverpool are a team that can be beaten by Barcelona. Lyon are the most difficult today," said Messi.

"I expect an open game because the English play without defensive caution and with a style similar to Barcelona.

"Sincerely, I believe Liverpool are worried about playing against us because we are the champions of Europe and that strikes fear in any rivals.

"I desire to travel to Liverpool with much work done and holding an advantage to qualify for the next round.

"A 2-0 or 3-0 score will be perfect for Barca.

"Always, we need to not concede a goal in Camp Nou to avoid problems at Anfield."

The Argentinean admits having a Spanish contingent could work in Liverpool's favour.

He said: "The Reds are a peculiar team. They play in England but the style of the coach and many of the players is nearly Spanish. This will be an extra problem for Barcelona."

Its great if barca underestimate us.
