Yep Spain are in cruise control, at times there stroking the ball around with a bit of arrogance (full of confidence). Shevchenko has been a spectater so far, the Ukranians cant get him in the game they are playing woeful. They need to up the tempo or Spain will just carry on knocking the ball about, like they did against England.

Is it Senna ? the the mixed raced player for Spain he looks pretty useful, mindyou that midfield trio all look good.

(And yes - I am aware that the World Cup is in Germany, which is NORTH-EAST of France.

In my honest opinion, our Xabi Alonso has upstaged Xavi today.

It's obvious that Argones rates Alonso and Villa above the others, as he's taken them off to keep them fresh for the rest of the tournament.

They are a different kind of midfielder, Xavi (with v) is more to make the last pass, but he doesn't have the ability of our Xabi to change the orientation of the game with long balls, nor he has the defensive abilities of the Pool player.

the thing is, guillem balague said on the radio that torres to manure is virtually a done deal for.....wait for this...£25m

he's basically a direct replacement for the horse.
