Little Luis strikes again. :D

1-0 Spain.

Shevchenko's run shud neva have been offside tho, bad decision, had the linesman not flagged it could be 1-1.

Yeah I've seen the highlight, Alonso's header, pushed in by the keeper.

I know they've only played 30 minutes in this world cup, but on this sort of form I'd say Spain are the team to beat so far.

VERY impressive stuff.

ukraine have been dreadful. they've got no width and schevchenko is completely isolated. he even fell over the ball a few minutes ago. £30m my ar$e. :D

Spain looking pretty good so far.  Playing the 3 central midfielders with the full backs giving width is working a treat and the movement of Villa, Torres and Garcia is excellent.

Still, the Ukraine are playing bollox so I'm not going to get carried away with Spain just yet.

I'd certainly agree with that.

They are playing some tremendous football, the movement is fantastic. I am just AMAZED at the players they have on the BENCH....Joaquin, Reyes, Fabregas, Iniesta....that is pretty frightening :suspect:

`The problem with Ukraine is that they're centre backs are slow as hell (BTW the security guys of my work have a little TV so I'm not working atm ) :) , and Torres realised of that and he's making a lot of harm.

You can see, and you will see his finishing is not the best, but he can do harm against a slow defence like that.
