France qualify if they beat Cyprus and the Swiss draw or lose in Dublin. They`re guaranteed a play off place at the very least as long as they win.

France are rubbish. I don't care about the big names they are terrible and were just the least bad from a group without a decent team in it.

France were extremely poor in their qualifying group. They could have won it by a country mile (given their players) but they struggled in almost every game they played.

Looking at saturdays debacle (balls-up) there seems to be an outrageous level of arrogance that flows through the french players (even the non-international players) ever since they won the '98 world cup. Whilst not doubting their ability looking back at their performances in the last two major tournaments i feel that it has been proven that when they aren't playing on their own patch they aren't the dominant force that they believe they are.
